"I have been a loyal customer of Pret A Manger since it first opened in the mid-90s and have spent a significant amount of money there over the years. However, I was disappointed to find that the prices have become exorbitant. I recently purchased a flat white, apple juice (which my family affectionately calls "Pom J"), and a Scandinavian smoked salmon roll, which came to a total of £14.40 to eat in the cafe at Gatwick South. This price seemed unreasonable to me. I feel that the branch at Gatwick is not as busy as usual for a Monday morning in October, and it seems that customers are choosing to go elsewhere. I could have gotten a deluxe sushi box at Itsu next door for a similar price. It appears that Pret A Manger may have crossed the line with their pricing this time."

I just had an amazing breakfast at Pret! You can't go wrong here. I had a bacon and egg sandwich that was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend pairing it with a hot oat chocolate.

After closing for failure of the EAT chain which was in my opinion a reference point in uk for quality and content Pret a Manger is at the moment the best place for a fast lunch at the right price. View menu

Normally, the wait is not too long. sometimes the waiting queue to pick up is quite long. but thankfully they have prepared some employees, but they are very busy. unfortunately the smoothies are often prefabricated:

At Kings Cross Station Pret, I assembled a big selection of sandwiches and drinks noticing that if you don’t have a loyalty card or account the prices are 20% more expensive. When at the till I enquired about how I get a club card only to be told I had to download an app groan just what you need to be or when you have a train to catch. I refused the invitation and took my £45+ spend somewhere else. Ridiculous marketing ploy. Who thought that idea up?

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
