"Quiet spot for a good evening meal. Set amongst a residential area just outside La Cala de Mijas. Easy walk from our accommodation. Small, basic restaurant in terms of decor and style. Not particularly busy the evening we visited, mainly couples 50 years plus. Simple menu, approx. 6 dishes for starters main course. Good portion size, homely, tasty cooking at reasonable prices. It isn’t lively but a pleasant experience with friendly staff."

"Me and my partner regularly frequent la cala de mijas, and found this place through a recommendation. I can honestly say some of the best food we've had on the Costa del Sol. The menu is something else, so different from anywhere else in the area. The flavours the chef pulls together are incredible, offering new York strip to avacado tempura, the menu is diverse and yummy! Prices also very reasonable, with a 5E tapas menu. Service was decent, the chef is a dude who is one of the coolest people I think I've ever spoken to (not joking go in and meet the guy) and the location has great views and good parking available. Cannot recommend cali del sol enough."

"For me the best restaurant in the area. I have been more than 15 times and it never disappoints. The service is excellent, the dishes delicious and good value for money. The best bravas I've ever tasted. To add a but, sometimes they are a little late between dishes and I would love for them to open on Sundays at noon. Keep it up! A hug. "always friendly and good professionals, ...quality/price very good. Right now, we've arrived even though we didn't have a reservation, and they've been looking for the solution. so products, today a home salad (magnific in freshness and abundance) and some delicious and tender fried squids, their brand... fresh products, well prepared and served with kindness and a smile. and the sea frame and its wonderful tranquility. You can't ask for more, as long as we can get through. pity that I believe that in autumn and winter they close, deserved rest."
