"if the visitors ask us to bring them to a typical Spanish place, I will definitely consider Bar-Refugio. there was a no-fuss menu of a selection of small tapas (all tasty), to share a house salad, a (big) paella (vegetarian or meat or mixed) or grilled...meat, a dessert and a drink for pp. it was more eating than I was eating in the rule, but it was all delicious. I also never choose paella, but we have decided to say it must be good at such a place. we have not been wrong. the view from the side terrace is breathtaking with the sea glittering at the horizon and the mountains that give a perspective and deep view. the young waitress and waitress were charming and the gitarrist who set us up to serenade had a super tune. my only observation (as criticism too hard is a word) is that the administration has chosen to create the parking space right in front of the beautiful terrace that enjoys full sun. why the cars do not go right under the pine and let their guests enjoy the view? the terrace on the side is in shade, but has views of the sea. I have noticed this quirk in so many Spanish restaurants as if they believe that we all want to stare and hear that they arrive and go while we have our meals. there are some tables directly at the front edge of the escarpment, with the best views, but they were not placed for the service. next time they are, this is the best place to be! (we took our Kovid passengers with us, but the personal said they were not required, as we sat out they go for the experience and the beautiful journey there and back."
