"I was there approx. 15 times in the last 6 years for lunch on working days. it is a small Greek restaurant 20 seats) with inconspicuous furniture and offers takeaway. it is located on a main road opposite a gas station, hidden by private sphere fence. that protects the small outside area. there is nothing nice at all, so it does not invite to pass. (voice) they get huge and very tasty meal times in excellent and fresh quality to low trips! the restorative are very pleasant, attentive and service-minded. when we went to Mother's Day, he gave all my family a bottle of wine and refused to be paid for them. they don't live big. we were embarrassed by their generousness. they are highly recommended, warm. they have the potential to become iconic when their quality is more."

"we found this place shortly after we checked in our hotel close by, so we decided to try it as we arrived a little late in the hotel and the lunch time was over in the hotel. we ordered nasi goreng along with several bowls of kroepoek (shrimp cracker) and they were great. use the test if you want to stay in nearby hotels and find delicious food with good portion."

"This is a small, cosy, friendly little Italian restaurant with good service from Antonino and Ludovica with very good food and reasonably priced wine. We visited here for the first time after having driven past the place countless times. The outside is not very spectacular but the inside is a cosy little place divided into small sections giving a very intimate feel. Antonino and Ludovica are the young couple who seem to run the place and they are very welcoming and very friendly. There is a "fish" or "meat" four course set menu, the standard "a la carte" or the daily blackboard. The choice is very good and the resulting served dishes were really very good. Simply cooked but excellent, and good value. The wine list is similarly well priced. There was a choice of home made desserts. I chose tiramisu and the blonde chose panacotta, both of which were good. With coffee we had their home made grappa which was great. This is a really nice little restaurant. We have been looking for a restaurant nearby to make "our" place and this is the one. Unpretentious, friendly, good food, good atmosphere and reasonable prices. What more could you want?"

"For over two years, my family and I have been regular customers with Stella Dimi (Inhaber). We are always fully satisfied. The quality of the food and its entire facility has nothing to do with a traditional snack. Bifteki and Gyros are unbeatable, as well as you can find the best pizza in the city of Essen. But also the really classic Greek specialties like Juwetsi are great and you should really try them. Seasonal or special treats such as mussels, fish dishes or salads are often found on the offer tables. My tip would be to try the Gyros Omelette. The service is friendly, accommodating and very personal. Greek hospitality is definitely felt here. The price/performance ratio is also true here, for example, the Gyros spear is built and not delivered every day by the owner himself. I can only recommend a visit here, but you should not forget to book a table on Friday/Saturday. You can also take the food wonderfully with home."

"Service ist sehr bemüht aber wenn man eine große Cola bestellt möchte ich die Info das es die kleinste Fritz Cola ist die man erwerben kann. Die Selbstgemachten Limos und Ice Tea sind Passable. Ganz wichtig ist da es dort keine Burger gibt, lediglich Sandwiches. Burger haben Patties, alles mit losem Fleisch oder dementsprechend Fleischersatz sind per Definition Sandwiches. Geschmacklich hat es mich nicht vom Hocker gehauen aber als Ami ist das auch sehr sehr schwer von daher immer selber ein Bild machen. Das Ambiente unten ist OK. Wirkt etwas Cafeteria. Bei den Sanitären Anlagen oben ist es ziemlich Kalt gewesen und man konnte in einen gang gucken wo Wäsche hing und Leere Kartons rumstanden. Für die preise dort sollte da so nicht sein."
