"I was in the village for several days and decided to try all the famous restaurants. la verenna was recommended by the hotel where I stayed. the restaurant opens for lunch and dinner. the dinner starts at 9 o'clock, which is too late. for me, so I visited twice for lunch. the restaurant is located in a quiet residential area of the village, but well visible and accessible. the entrance is beautiful and so the lobby, with the feeling of a high-end restaurant. there is also a waiting area where they can sit while waiting for their table. the dining room is spacious and with clean and high quality feeling. the service is fast and relatiw polite. regarding eating I would say to visit the following after two where I decided from the daily menu: cod carpaccio probably the best dish. a little underboiled, but flooded in the sauce. the supplement were fried kartoffels, a bit unusual a xato Catalan salat with cadjau. probably the worst dish. I found only two pieces of cod, and many tuna from dose and sardelle. the salate was drowned again in the sauce. carrilada de termera (face of bark) the meat was good, but again flooded in the sauce. coffee very good desert reasonable (both flan and ice cream). whispering wine there is no (no muscat, px, porto, etc. instead of me was said the Spanish guests usually don't drink it strange, as most desert wines come from Spain. instead, vintage cognac was offered to me with desert. house wine nothing special. Instead they ask for weinliste, but do not expect the waiter to know much about the wein. overall, eating is very average. the chef has a preference in flooding with sauce. that is a shame, because I feel that the basic components are reasonable. the restaurant makes as if it were a good end, but the offer and quality of the food do not correspond to the expectations."

Un sitio bonito, es lo unico reseñable. Empezamos por no poder cerrar la puerta del aseo de caballeros. Un servicio lento, muy lento. Más de 3 horas para comer. La comida correcta, sin ir más allá, porque mi magret de pato, estaba durito... Carta y menu algo caros. Un menú de 20€, bebida a parte, dónde en los primeros hay unos tallarines boloñesa o una ensalada de rulo de cabra que has de pagar un suplemento de 3€...!! Pido tarta de zanahoria preguntando si el chocolate que lleva por encima es chocolate negro y me dice el camarero que si, luego llega la sorpresa, es chocolate con leche. Teníamos hora reservada hoy domingo 20 de Septiembre a las 14'30h, pero llegamos sobre las 13'20 h al restaurante,hemos preguntado si nos podían atender antes,nos han dicho que sí,hemos sido los primeros en sentarnos en la mesa,veníamos 6 personas y no había nadie más,han tardado unos 50 minutos largos en traernos unas patatas bravas,unos mejillones al vapor y una ensalada y la bebida unos 20m estabamos desesperados y luego el resto de platos también se hicieron esperar,cuando alguno de nosotros había terminado su segundo a otros les faltaba el suyo,desesperación total y es que después de todo solo eramos 3 mesas de 2 personas y la nuestra de 6 y no quiero pensar cuando esté lleno el local....
