Ristorantino Lu Stazzu

Visited this place last night for dinner after very long day. Food was fine, service was good to start with and in the end it took absolute ages to get someone’s attention. Waited ages for the bill, had to stand up and wait by the till to pay.

We went to this place twice since we enjoyed the food so much. It is a short menu but the food is excellent, and pleasantly different from the other places in Budoni. There is also an interesting wine selection of sardinian wines. The service was very friendly, patient and helpful considering that we didn't speak any Italian.

We have been here with my family and our friends, 4 adults and 5 kids. We have been sit in the back side terrace, a bit small but definitely quiet. We had grilled fish and muscles soup for the parents and ‘gnocchetti sardi’ for the kids. All was excellent, and since I’m a fan of the muscle, I did clean up the dish with a lot of bread! Overall the price was adeguate.

Me and my boyfriend went to Lu Stazzu for lunch and it was an excellent choice! The restaurant has vegan and vegetarian options, the plate of the day was also vegan, ravioli with mushrooms; huge assortiment of wine; a tiny woman who served us, who turned out to be the owner, was very polite and kind. The place is very cozy and clean. We had a great time and will definitely come again. Highly recommended!

booked a table here for 8.30 and were still standing on the street waiting to be seated at 8.55. Were given a disappointing seat and again left with the menu for around another 20 minuets befor our order was taken. Food was average and the tuna was very over cooked and full of bones. Total bill for 4 was 198 euro which was very expensive compared to other Budoni restaurants where we had better food and also wine. Would not return here.

Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante tipico del centro di budoni che offre principalmente un menu di terra, siamo stati accolti con professionalità e cortesia anche se non abbiamo prenotato. abbiamo scelto un antipasto misto che aveva molti piatti tipici e davvero molto d'oca e un secondo piatto singolo perché l'antipasto era molto abbondante. dolce tipico di pompia e vino rosso in bottiglia. il prezzo è davvero a portata di tutti grazie per la splendida giornata

Our family went for evening meal. They sit us down outside in nice quiet place. First of all, don’t take pizza. It’s soggy and looks disgusting, especially “frutti di mare”. Also lots of cheese which wasn’t mozzarella at all. Only one tasty meal is fried mix plate of fish. They don’t speak English, only Italian. They didn’t want to do separate bills for each family, so we had to work out ourselves how much we have to pay. Copertto is very expensive €2.50, and not worth at all because food isn’t nice.

Me and my girlfriend are staying in Budoni for a week. We first came to the restaurant and tried the a selection of 5 different fish dishes on a platter. It was very tasty and fresh, the staff working there were very welcoming, friendly and the service was excellent speedy, and all for a very reasonable price. We returned 2 days later to try their pizza's which were also amazing. We had a great time at this restaurant and it has definitely become our favourite place to eat in Budoni! Would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Budoni.

Went with my family for a evening in Budoni. Decided to eat here as it was slightly off the bustling and noisy Main Street and the menu looked authentically Sardinian. We ordered the mixed Sardinian starter for two and a secondi each thinking this would be a reasonably light meal. When the platter of meats came out we thought that was it, polished off the lot and waited for our mains. But no, then came a couple of cheese-based starters...and then some more meaty dishes. We had no idea what these were (probably some form of offal) but they tasted great. For main/secondi we had fish, lamb, beef steak, horse steak, and a pizza. Everyone enjoyed it. Eldest daughter said it was the best beef stea...
