"As an avid persian food regular who has lots of persian friends, I must admit the taste of food here is bad. It is mildly spiced and thus not authentic. I ordered a chicken kebab that came with rice. The rice was great and quite a lot but the kebab had almost no taste and it was extremely dry al together. I couldn't finish it. My partner ordered gormesabzi which is normally very tasty but here it was way too tangy but at least better than mine. Having eaten at other persian restaurants in dusseldorf, I am afraid I cannot recommend this one."

Really nice Persian cuisine served with a smile, my fiancée and I had a sharing platter for two and were stuffed afterwards, the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodated our terrible German. Would definitely recommend

Had and evening meal here with friends on Saturday very surprising. Food , service and price was excellent. Lots of lamb main courses here. We were extremely surprised with this one. I was not expecting it to be so good. Worth a visit if...your in the neighbourhood

I like the food here and it's really delicious. You can come here for lunch from 12- 3 pm for a buffet or 5 or 6 pm for dinner till 10 pm. The only fault is the service! The waitress ignores our requests and is lousy sitting behind the bar playing with her phone. I wish the owner would do something about the service because the food is very yummy! Especially the kashk badinjoun.

Located in a secluded street off the path. An minute ride from downtown. Worth the visit. Simple and good! Limited menu, but enough variety! Everything freshly made, family business! Delicious Persian dishes with lamb are the specialty, vegetarian options, delicious salads, yoghurt sauces, desserts,...vaclava kind of roll, Persian version, try the one of a kind zaffron ice cream. Recommend

We were looking for a change and planned to try persion cuisine at Rivass. We were nto disappointed at all. The Weisenbeer was very nice and so was Konig Pils. Grilled food was amazing. I tried Graufhaus which was a combination of lamb and chicken. best part was the saffron rice - it is served with every dish but I have never had a rice of that quality in my life. Ambience is average but food is amazing.

This was one of the worst meals we had in our travels through Germany. From the dust gathered on the ledges and various areas, to the young waiter and female hostess spending the whole evening playing music on a computer or phones for each other and talking loudly while ignoring the only guests in the restaurant (us), to the abysmal food preparation - it would not be surprising if this place goes out of business. Very disappointed.

The service was okay but slow. The menu is rather small and they were even not able to offer all from the menu. The food is nothing special, frankly similar to what you can get at the turkish Kebap shop around the corner for half the money. You get a lot of rice to fill you up but the main dish itself is rather small. Atmosphere is nothing special. So if you are around anyway you could go there but I would not take a journey to get there.
