"Staying up in the area so thought I would try local chippy. Horrified at the prices for a basic Fish Chips. Local to me I pay £8.30 where's here Cod was £8.00 plus £3.00 for Chips. The food was tasty but nothing that special for what many would consider an inflated price. Another supplier jumping on the inflation band wagon"

If I could give this place no stars I would. Terrible service and terrible food. They should be closed down

Disgusting how they treat their customers, ordered for delivery and got yelled at and threatened by the manager.

Ordered takeaway took nearly 3 hours to arrive. Quality at best average. Please avoid save your money genuinely you would be better to open a tin of beans. View menu

The food is terrible and the staff is very impolite. I would not recommend dining at this establishment, as it is also very poorly maintained and filthy inside.

Terrible delivery service, an hour late so far and still no sign of them. We have tried to call them 15 times so far and has only been answered a few times and no one spoke to us they just ended the call after about 5 seconds. View menu

I recently had the best fish and chips in a long time at this restaurant. The fish was incredibly fresh and the batter was beautifully crispy. The chips were absolutely amazing, the best I've had by far! The staff were friendly and provided excellent service.

The food arrived an hour late. The person on the phone blamed it on the low cost of the food, the slow driver, and my location being "far away" even though it's only a 7-minute drive. The service was rude, the food was mediocre, and it was expensive. I would not recommend this restaurant.

"Re opened, refurbished and back with a bang! A classic thatched country pub which has been lovingly and sympathetically restored to more than its former glory, with new owners and new management. It now features a wonderful and sizeable pub garden with stunning views over the Cambridgeshire countryside with the quaint addition of Highland Cows who seem to enjoy watching the customers! Having been for drinks and food now on a couple of occasions, the menu is sophisticated, tasty with plenty of variety. If you're enjoying a drink in the garden, for nibbles, I highly recommend the cheese fritters they compliment a cool glass of Prosecco perfectly. There is an extensive wine list and a selection of cocktails on offer. Inside the pub, it's all olde world charm but with a modern twist and as much I love the warm weather, I almost can't wait to see a roaring fire in the two fireplaces! The staff are friendly and welcoming it's the sort of pub I'd be happy to go into on my own for a light lunch or just a drink. I can't wait to try their Sunday lunch which I've heard good things about already from those who have been! Considering it's a whole new team of people, the service understandably was a little bit slow as they were learning the ropes. However, on my last visit, I was impressed by how much slicker it was they're obviously fast learners. Can't wait to go back and support this quality pub/restaurant."
