"Four fabulous days at La Chartreuse Du Val St Esprit, and an amazing meal at Le Robert 11, which is the gastronomic restaurant in the main hotel. Our meal began at 1.30 and finished at 9 as we took a break to prepare for the amazing dessert trolley. Unlike some fine dining restaurants in France, the service was charming, friendly and very attentive. Stunning wine list topped off with a Petrus at 3000 euros!! You can dine a la carte or there is a range of set menus, and all I can say is that I never seen so many happy diners! The location is remarkable in fact the entire experience of Le Chartreuse was memorable. This is NOT a stopover on route to Calais, but a destination in its own right"

Cuisine gastronomique succulente, personnels très avenants et professionnel. Nous avons découvert et adoré la cuisine et le cadre. Je recommande.

a very beautiful place, respecting the charm of the old site where history is imposing. . dishes are tasty, alternate traditional and new flavours. a perfect kitchen of all dishes. a good mention for the cheese trolley, which makes you want to choose everything. As for the wine map, it is simply beautiful. too, the choice is difficult. but keep a place for desserts because there is again, they are many and appetizing to discover if you love history.

"we had come a few years ago to spend a night there (formal dinner night,) and we weren't out disappointed. and by chance we came back to spend an evening in their restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and very welcoming. upon arrival, we are warmly welcomed, and with a smile (this is not the case for all restaurants.) We each took a cocktail without alcohol, for me kiwi green apples, and for my wife orange grenadine it seems to me. Plats: my wife took a pane with parma ham and tomatoes cut in the puck, and for me, a royal pizza with a white poultry supplement, rather even chicken eminced (which is best for me.) However, I find the supplement for the latter rather expensive (3€) from which the star is less,) but what a treat. one of the best pizzas tasted to date! not drunk, not very fat (it remains a pizza anyway,) and well garnished! nothing to say, hat the cook!desserts: we each took a "mi-cooked chocolate and its vanilla ice ball," we have feasted, nothing to say for this point. not dry, melting and hot inside. With a drink we had for €52.20, I find it very reasonable for the quality of the meals and the atmosphere of this "hotel restaurant." We didn't wait too long, the time between meals was enough. There was still a lot of couple despite having dinner in the week.Following the advice of a person working there, book if you think you eat the weekend, they are often complete! we will come back with great pleasure!"
