"we had booked a table on Wednesday afternoon and were the only people in the restaurant. while eating was good, the use of the lunch menu of the courses for the staff was hard to find. I had to look for the corridors to find someone who lets them know we were there and then look for our bill again! when she came to the restaurant, the waitress was friendly and pleasant. Maybe they could have a bell for customers to ring at the bar? otherwise we enjoyed our meal despite the lack of attention."

The atmosphere and decor was comfortable and relaxing. It was our first visit and the staff made us very welcome. We had the plated Sunday Lunch it was very nice but not exceptional may be because we usually visit a venue that serves carvery.

I normally give a good review but this meal the service was poor. Unfortunately, if there was any staff management it was nonexistent, the food was fine but after asking for coffee times we gave up paid and left. Someone in authority is not doing their job.

Can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Staff are lovely and go out of your way to make sure you’re comfortable and your dining experience is perfect. Me and my partner love going for a Sunday dinner and at such a brilliant price too. Amazing food and the quality is outstanding. Cant say enough about it! View menu

met with friends for Sunday dinner. personal friendly and helpful. many socially distant tables felt so safe. also sanitisers everywhere. the food was well presented and cooked with good portions. could improve by adding extra gravity in a jug. service was very good and we enjoyed our lunch very many thanks.

Previously when we have attended both food and service has been good This time the food was ok but not up to previous standards The service was not good young and inexperienced with what appeared to be lack of supervision This is not their fault it is fault of management but we will still go as this hopefully was a one off and normally food and service is good compared to local eateries
