"Visited for a Sunday lunch. Drinks were great , but the wait time was rather long and when the roast came out some of it we couldn’t even cut. The roasties seemed like they had been sitting out for a long time as were like rocks and the gravy was that watery you could hardly even see it on your plate. I think these 2 elements are the most important part of a roast besides the meat, so for them to be served the way they were was really disappointing. The desserts were lovely and very tasty, just a disappointing roast unfortunately."

I had a great experience at this pub. We had a reservation for 6:15 pm and the place was already bustling by then. We were seated promptly, given menus, and informed about any out-of-stock items. The server came back...

Work party in the Tipi. It was a fabulous setting. Comfy, warm, lovely interior and space for the children to runaround. We had The Silver Buffet. Great food and enough to take some home. Very attentive staff. All round a lovely, special afternoon.

We visited on Sunday with family. It was very busy but as we had pre booked we were seated straight away. Our server was very polite, friendly and efficient. I wish I’d got his name. 3 of us had roast dinner. There was p,entyof it and a good amount of meat. The ham was beautifully cooked, tender and tasty. I would definitely return and recommend. I made a last-minute phone call to book a table and, as always, they were accommodating. The table service was excellent, especially since the bar was very busy. I ordered the steak and chicken supreme, both of which were flawless. The Eton mess was a bit of a letdown, but overall the experience was still very good. I will definitely be returning.

Wouldn't recommend based on the food we had today. The starter of harissa beef skewers was dry tough, no hint of harissa. I had seam bream fir my main, fish was ok but risotto its served with no more than bland. Very disappointing fir almost £20. The kids food on the whole was OK, other than the meat balls, not sure what meat it was but completely dry. I would of like to have told the staff but nobody actually asked if the good was OK. Won't be returning in a hurry.
