"This is a great place in a small town! The service is very good and the food too. The menu is limited, but for good reason - using what appears to be mostly local produce and doing it very well. The quality exceeds expectation - and even more so given the location. Well worth a visit - good food, good service and good wine - in Beaujolais - what more could one want!"

"We rolled up in Fleurie, hungry and with no idea where to eat. We saw this restaurant on the corner opposite the square and, after looking inside, taking a deep breath and convincing ourselves it would have to do we entered. It was a weekday lunch time and the restaurant was quite full, populated by what appeared to be the local elderly population! The internal appearance of the restaurant was a little off putting - mis matched and dated is probably a fair description. However, that's where any possible disappointment could end. A great priced set lunch menu was on offer. The lady serving was charming. The food, quite frankly, was top notch (looked and tasted like something out of a top class restaurant). We got an amuse bouche to boot. This really was surprising stuff. The wine list was good. We were not rushed. The bill was very modest (we would have quite happily paid double for what we were served). We will be returning to Fleurie in the autumn and will be booking ahead this time to make sure we don't miss out!!"

"Accueil simple et courtois, la décoration de la salle n'as pas d'identité, les couverts sont présentés sur la table du mauvais côté, le temps d'attente est assez long, la boisson "jus de fruits" trop cher pour le prix par rapport à la quantité, la salle deviens rapidement bruyante, la pizza est bonne mais peu de garniture, le prix est un peu élevé."

"Bonne cuisine classique, servi dans une magnifique demeure surplombant le vignoble du Beaujolais. Quand au service, il laisse un peu à désirer. La patronne, ou responsable de salle, vous accueille en tenu un peu trop décontracté. Verrerie avec trace de rouge à lèvres... , sous prétexte d'avoir eu un mariage la veille. Manque de connaissances des cartes (mets et vins) et de professionnalisme. Alors ne vous fiez pas aux distinctions Michelin."
