"I visited this restaurant with some friends for a break after exploring Rouken Glen Park. Upon entering, no one seemed too concerned about filling out the track and trace form, but we decided to do so anyway and left it at the entrance. The restaurant appeared clean enough, although it had a dated look reminiscent of an old school British cafe that likely hasn't changed much since it first opened last century. There were plenty of options for snacks and meals, but we all opted for coffee and a snack. I chose a Mocha and an apple slice, both of which were delicious. The Mocha was excellent and the apple slice was soft and tasty. None of my friends had any complaints either."

Had an unexpected visit here and enjoyed the ice cream. Not a great deal else really but worth a visit if your into plants and all that sort of stuff.

The products in this garden centre are lovely. A good variety of gifts and garden supplies. However, the coffee shop isn't comfortable to sit in. It's very basic with two large TV's on the wall and is over priced. Food is nice enough but not worth the money.

Ordered 2 rolls on square sausage, 2 teas,2 cakes.....£17.68...Absolute daylight robbery... On taking my first bite of my roll,I came across something solid hard in the sausage. Totally turned my stomach so couldn't eat...won't be recommending or visiting again. View menu

Ordered the veggies curry and veg sausage rolls, expecting something bland but filling. Very pleasantly surprised by the colourful and tasty curry, with perfectly cooked rice and flavourful salsa on the side. Also two very happy kids with their veg sausage roll chips. Great fortifications for a winter walk!

When we went I was very surprised that we had to put our own details on a clipboard that was on the table before you went into the café, for track and trace. I feel that this should have been monitored by a member of staff. How many people have used that pen before we used it. It made me feel a big uncomfortable.

I paid £8.10 for the disappointing meal in the photo below. The brown bread was very basic, the toastie was dry with minimal cheese and a few onion rings. There were only 4 plain crisps and the salad was outdated. I ordered a white Americano but received a latte instead. This cafe should be embarrassed to serve such low-quality food at that price. I will not be returning. View menu

Recently visited for lunch in the updated cafe in Rouen Glen Garden Centre. Really impressed with the new decor and seating, very modern and fresh. We had vegetable soup with a small bread roll, followed by a coffee and cake. All was delicious! Plenty of staff on hand serving and clearing and sanitising tables. Only negative point is that I would say everything is rather overpriced.

I had high hopes for a soup and sandwich at this restaurant. The soup was mediocre, served in a small portion at the bottom of the bowl. The Coronation chicken sandwich I ordered was unappetizing and far from what I expected. Frankly, if you're craving a great coronation chicken sandwich, I recommend looking elsewhere. The staff seemed to be in a daze, busy with cleaning duties and neglecting to check in on customers. I won't be returning to this restaurant. I found a much better coronation chicken sandwich at Morrisons that put this place to shame.
