"On the whole its better than other Sainsbury cafe but some visits have not been great. Baked potato with beans and cheese sat on top of the SIDE salad was awful. Hot wilted salad leaves are not nice! Too much grease on plate with breakfasts or brunch a couple of times and barely cooked pork links. Most of the staff are really helpful and customer service orientated and special mention for the male member of staff (name starts with Li who jumped to it when I dropped a teapot full of hot water. Tables left too long to be wiped and customers having to use napkins to do it themselves drop my usual 5 stars down."

Gran Café offers an excellent value for money with friendly staff. It is quite popular during lunch hours, but there was always space to sit. View menu

Nothing to criticise except that fish wouldn't be ready for an hour and it appears that they would no longer be supplying fair trade tea. If that was not the case would be five star.

This restaurant is expensive and not very clean. All the cutlery was dirty and had to be cleaned before use. The staff was not very helpful, and customers have to clear their own table before leaving. I will not be returning.

Sainsbury is my local supermarket and I visit regularly and often stop for a coffee and cake and I did so today and the service was very good, the lady behind the counter was very cheerful, the coffee and cake very good. I will continue to do this on future trips View menu

I walked up 2 sainsburys to find that the only lemon cake there was sainsburys own make. Now, ive never tried this brand and my heart told me no, but my stomach said yes. I sat outside on the bench and took one bite. My mouth felt like the sahara desert more dryer than my booty and thats saying something as its usually shooting out diarrhoea. Will defos not be back. Shocking. Sainsburys use less flour and more milk. :

Need more tables with cushioned seats asap uncomfortable on hard wood ones.sin complaint about this store is that it is always freezing. Have you ever heard of a shop with air conditioning on in the winter??? Even the staff complain but totally ignored when customers complain too. The cafe food is fine. The staff are terrific. Wear heavy clothes in the summer due to cold wind from air conditioning and wear layers of cardies in the winter.
