"We chose to try this restaurant after having had dinner at the compagnon dining facility of Christophe Bacquié on the same hotel property at Le Castellet .We were politely greeted and seated without delay on the terrace which offers a great seaview. Our table was moving...and it took repeated requests to have someone steady it.The menus followed with a rather limited set of options at either 41 or 51 Euros for menus and if you were so inclined , you could indulge yourself with an expensive ! quarter-pound burger menu at 40 Euros. Our waiter came around and told us that 2/3 main course items were not available and were replaced with other choices.Service overall was very slow, poorly trained and not particularly friendly but obviously the staff were too few for the number of guests on this weekday evening . We were offered a terrine appetizer that was rather tasteless. Our party had sauteed mushrooms and squid carpaccio for appetizers and the duck ,fish and spanish pork loin selections for main courses. The dishes were well presented but without any distinctive features and the entrées and main courses were tasty but not exceptional . Desserts were mainly prepared with fresh fruit compotes and sorbets and were excellent. There is a good wine selection to pair with dining choices.Overall not worth a repeat experience but you may choose it as a less expensive option to it’s otherwise excellent next door higher-end restaurant."

We enjoyed the restaurant while staying at the hotel in August 2016. The food was very good, sometimes with unnecessary touches of originality, and the proximity of the park and the swimming pool made it a very relaxing place for lunch time.

This is the less formal of the two main restaurants at the resort. However, it still is a formal and expensive dining experience. Our boys are teenagers and they enjoyed the dinner but I do not believe it would have been worth the cost when...they were younger.

Went there in a group of six. The location is great, it's quiet and beautiful. Prices are on the high side €51 for a 3 courses meal). Desserts were disappointing. Don't try the famous café gourmand, certainly not worth the €18. The rest of the...food was ok but nothing special. Service was a bit disorganised, not the level expected. View menu

The starter and dessert were excellent - the main course (Shrimps) was a disaster - they gave us a second main dish, but after the first experience we did not feel like eating. At least they canceled two main courses on the check. Although, uh, it would have been a good gesture if the cook had done it personally. The setting is nice, some, but not all employees very gas-torientated and competent.

Ideal environment along the green for a refreshing diner. For the menu with a good choice a dishes with creative ingredients and good presentation. The service was excellent although we would appreciate to have refilled the glasses from the participant. Price of menu...in par with the high level of facilities. Wine list pretty close with a great focus on local wines. However, prices are reasonable.

lunch with friends in a sumptuous but very sanitized setting and despite simple dishes, good but in relation quality exaggerated price (it is true that the view and location have a cost) we have unanimously been cooled by the service and the reception, or apart from one or two smiling and warm people, the room staff is rather remote, enough to see a little hungarian...The real luxury is no longer that View menu

This is our second time in this restaurant and again we were surprised by the excellent service and amazing food. Dragan the maitre d’ was so helpful and charming. He even spoke to us. The waitresses were very friendly and correct and...explained the menus perfectly. It was the highlight of our stay in Le Castellet. I'd just suggest that they might still cure a court and add main course. Other than that, thank you!!!

The San Felice is conveniently located e.g. if you are visiting the Paul Ricard race track or its surrounding areas. It is in a beautiful park with a six hole ! golf course and has an interesting view. No doubt that the San Felice wishes...to provide its guests with a correspondingly high level experience. It did unfortunately fail to do so when we were here: the kitchen and the service team seemed to be affected by an unduly complacent attitude that spoiled it all, a real pity. The team should work to live up to the expectations that come with the racy prices. I am confident that they have the ability do it!

"I am a regular customer at the bistro, the farm inn and the counter. It has always been faultless in your establishments, very pleasant staff, more than remarkable food, a beautiful wine list and of course the setting which is idyllic.. Last night it was a disappointment for me when I arrived at the bistro. A new butler, bordering on unpleasant, who doesn't even take the trouble to listen to us (a pointless back and forth). We arrive and an orange planned for the evening (4am) the exterior was not prepared, I hear that sometimes it is better to play the safety card so as not to run in full service for a downpour. Sitting on the terrace for an aperitif, we order a bottle of Chablis. I asked the butler if it was possible to have the menu of. I couldn't finish my sentence as he left with an annoyed look and was out of luck for him, he brought me the menu (on a slate) whereas if he had taken the trouble to listen to me. He would have brought me the menu of dishes to share. Before the bottle and the slate of dishes to share arrive we consult the menu. And a clear change on the dishes on the menu, only two choices. A pizze or a poultry supreme zucchini in all its variations, so for our part, when we come to you it’s not to eat pizza. It’s a real change from the beautiful pork pluma and the other dishes previously offered. A very nice waiter brings us the bottle and tells him that we are leaving the establishment being disappointed with the menu and with this maître d’. But we will come back all the same, to the farm inn to be received much better. We leave the table, come across this famous very unpleasant gentleman (who was not aware of our conversations with the waiter), we say goodbye to him. Without even blinking, did not try to find out the reason for our departure, reminded us that as room manager... it is part of his duties to worry about customer relations. I'm giving it three stars, because out of a good ten meals in less than a year, this was the only problem I encountered with you. Being in the profession, I know that it is difficult to hire in the catering industry at the moment and sometimes have to accept unprofessional people.
