"We took a trip with family to Worms when they came to visit and schnitzel was on their bucket list. We did some research and thought this would be the perfect place to try. We were promptly greeted when we walked in the door. The hostess spoke perfect English. The restaurant was fully booked except for the smoking area. We weren't smokers but decided to stay. The menu of schnitzels was extensive and luckily available in English for us!! We ordered the 4 varieties of schnitzels on special: carbonara, wild mushrooms, tomato with mozzarella, ham/egg with herb sauce. Each order also included a salad and choice of fries, croquettes or pan fried potatoes. I also tried the banana weizen beer. The restaurant didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and the different varieties of schnitzels was a great way to showcase one Germany's best dish!!!"

I did it. a business. Dinner and had. the Swiss Schnitzel. It was with ham and cheese and delicious. The frits were a little tasteless, but the salad on the other side was good. Not so much beer to choose and the wines are usually German. The service was ok, but could be more friendly.

There are some restaurants where I had a meal that I can't forget. One of the few restaurants is this. We left the Dom and our party of six found this place on foot to the car. We had all different meals, but my Sherryrahmschnitzel was the best. I dream of a return one day only to eat there again.

Our family of 4 ate here for lunch. Three people ordered different types of schnitzel, and one ordered flammkuchen. All the dishes were top notch. The service was also excellent. They offered us English menus as soon as they heard us trying to order drinks in German. The server was very friendly and helpful. If we make our way back to Worms, this would be our first stop.

Huw says it was very nice. He had a good time and enjoyed the wine. The meat was well-cooked and presented. A Senior portion is one piece of schnitzel, I had the 'normal' size (huge) with the ham and eggs topping in herb sauce (last on the list of schnitzels), fabulous, lovely staff. (How he guessed we were not German-speakers I will never know). Menu translation is a challenge with my 1984 phrase book

"When booking the photos we looked good, but on arrival we were not so sure. The location is somewhat doubtful and from the street the place did not look like much. We have something comprehensible, but it has proved to be great! You get the key with a code in the key box. It looks like a motel, with rooms on two levels, each door opens on the terrace/garden. There is no central hall with adjacent corridors. The rooms are very spacious and look like they were recently renovated. They are stylishly decorated and have a kind of ocean vibe. They were also very clean and fully equipped with everything you want in a hotel room. Large bed, desk, TV, seating area, spacious wardrobe etc. The bathroom was also neat, sisable and clean. There is a big restaurant that seems to be one of the most popular in the city. We wanted to eat in the city centre first, but because of the distance we just stayed in the old rowing house. Again we were immediately surprised. The outdoor terrace was really cozy and the food was well prepared. We also loved the view over the river and the docks. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, but you can also sit outside if you want. The buffet offers many options such as bread rolls, yogurt, eggs and spreads. Service was also great. After leaving, you can return your key to the reception. Personally, I feel like the only drawback the distance to the city center. Online says it's just 20 minutes walk, but the area just doesn't look so inviting. It seems that the center is really far away and it is not immediately clear what route to take."
