Near Karlsplatz (Stachus) there is an Arabic/Iraqi restaurant called Sindbad. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean. The bread is naturally still made here and I find it really good. The counter looks very clean, the salads crisp and fresh. I prefer to roast a little more, but the queue is often long here and you don't want to wait too long.
