"We booked Singer Tavern for a company dinner event based on its attractive website and availability for a large group. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the entire experience, from the booking process to the lack of communication with staff regarding our questions. Upon arrival, we were met with chaos and extremely loud music that made conversation difficult. The serving staff did their best, but there were issues with our preorders and the food was subpar and overpriced. We found the burgers to be dry and the chips to be bland. We left as soon as possible and would not recommend this restaurant. Look elsewhere for a better dining experience."

I stood at the bar for over 20 minutes whilst the female bar maid only served males and took shots with them. The customer service in this place is shocking. Do not go if you want to be served a drink.

This pub is in a fantastic location and gets quite crowded at times. They offer a good variety of craft beers on their menu. However, I was disappointed to find that several of the beers listed were not available, and the staff did not seem well-informed about their craft beer selection. View menu

We had a great experience at this restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was casual, open, and bright. We ordered two lunch wraps, which were delicious. The fries were perfectly cooked, though they could have used a bit more salt (easily fixed). They offer a good variety of wines by the glass. The outdoor seating is a major bonus when the weather is nice.

I've often walked past this bar and admired the building which is a grade ll listed, formerly the home of Singer Sewing Machines. Obviously a popular watering hole with local office workers. The bar is spacious and attractive. My Thai Green Curry was absolutely delicious and according to my husband so was his pie. Nice atmosphere and would certainly visit again.

Came to the pub and service was atrocious. Staff (attached photo) were rude and miserable. The Guinness was off and asked for it to be replaced, the lady rudely quoted with attitude “there’s nothing wrong with the Guinness” I asked for the drink to be replaced instead she charged me for a new one. Atrocious customer service and poor attitude from staff. Will definitely not recommend this pub to my company. View menu

Weekday lunch with a colleague. The food (fish wrap, chicken katsu curry) was tasty but took a really long time to arrive for a relatively simple order nearly an hour from ordering on a relatively quiet day. Front of house staff noticed and were apologetic and polite but not able to speed things up. Unfortunately, it's not the first time it's happened to me with food at the Singer Tavern, so this is mainly to give a heads up of the experience; you might be waiting longer than planned.

I booked a table for 8 people for dinner on a Tuesday. When we arrived we were shown to our table which was a table for 4 with 6 seats. This obviously wasn’t going to work. We waited for a more suitable table to be set for us. The music in the venue was extremely loud. Not at all suitable for a dinner. I couldn’t even hear the person sat opposite me (and I have very good hearing). Had there not been a £10 per head charge for not fulfilling the booking we would have gone somewhere else. The food was pretty good though which saved it. Could have been hotter though.
