"We found this lovely traditional pub down a quiet road near Kings Cross by accident. We were looking for somewhere for relaxing drink and a bite to eat. Having eaten a cooked lunch earlier in the day we didn 't want a large meal but fancied something a bit more than a bag of crisps. This pub catered for our requirements exactly as amongst many items on its menu were a selection of dishes called 'small plates ' which were ideal in size, we both enjoyed a small, but satisfying, portion of fish and chips. The staff were all very friendly and service was rapid and efficient. Prices were extremely competitive especially considering this pub is in central London. As it is not on the main road there was very little traffic and so were able to enjoy our food and drink sitting outside in the sunshine. If I was in the area again it 's highly likely that I would return to this pub."

We visited the Skinners Arms several times for drinks and dinner when we were in London. It’s a warm and friendly place, with a great staff and excellent cask ales on tap. Go there! View menu

Great traditional Pub Grub and good local ales. One of the better pubs in the King's Cross area. Friendly landlord and wonderful old-time atmosphere. I especially appreciated the free water (even with lime and lemon if you like).

We stumbled upon this place by chance and absolutely loved it! The food and service were both excellent. You order at the bar and they bring the food to your table. The homemade dishes are sure to impress you. We definitely plan on returning.

We were looking for a pub with good food near Kings Cross to meet family, and the Skinners Arms met all our expectations. The food was excellent with a large menu to choose from. The staff were friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Despite being just off the busy main road, it felt like an oasis where we could enjoy a great meal. I highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again. View menu

Do not expect a warm welcome at this restaurant! The owner is the most unfriendly in London. This place used to be nice, but the new people running it are a disgrace to the hospitality industry. I've been coming here for business meetings and socializing for years, but I will not be returning. I recommend going to the Dolphin around the corner instead - they actually welcome their customers, unlike this place where it feels like they just want to take your money and hurry you out.

Popped in for dinner on the way home from the match (Spurs v Sheffield United, we won! . Just love this place. Got a nice table for two and ordered scampi/chips and chilli beef and rice. Very tasty a pretty big portion of scampi, I couldn’t eat it all. Lovely atmosphere Sunderland fans on the benches outside, couples (older and younger , a few drinkers on their own, all enjoying the traditional atmosphere and decor! The type of pub that is sadly disappearing from London. Don’t change a thing!!! Please!
