Coming down from San Goutrdo, I thought of booking the last room available at Snack-Bar airö, a double with shared bathroom, perfect for a night's rest. and indeed the room is cozy, spacious, unexceptionable hygiene, with huge beds and very comfortable and, last but not least, sink in the room. the bathrooms, on the floor, very clean. But I didn't think I could have dinner downstairs, but when I saw the menu and then I had a chat with the managers, young and enthusiastic, I immediately changed my mind. And I did great! The peculiarity of the paper is the possibility to compose your own hamburger, choosing type of bread, meat, cheese and dressings. all excellent raw materials, at km 0, which you pair with each other give fabulous results. someone, in the previous reviews, complained about the cost, but the quality you pay and here, it must be said, you pay the right, which is not even exous if you discover that the alpe fornaggio is made by a lady in the area, which produces only that... super delicious gnocchi...the best pizza in the world....friendly and very striving. Even with 2 dogs we were allowed to go to the gastronomy. very cozy.

excellent sandwiches with free choice of filling. Maybe the prices should be slightly lowered. As for the rest, I will be able to judge as soon as I return and as a result I will taste traditional dishes.

green salad: cut salad. salatsauce dominates by acidic vinegar. rindsentrecôte has tasted like pork and also had a bad taste; reminded more of pork. beans without salt/flavor. positiw: teller has been taken back without any condition. polenta with mushrooms was ok. a lot of what was listed on the map was not available at all. unfortunately not recommended.

We tried to come on Saturday night, but fully booked, so booked for Sunday night and don't regret it. Burgers were fully customised, so we each had exactly what we wanted, one with a white bun, one with a multi-grain and a red one... Staff...were excellent, friendly and spoke enough English to make up for our complete lack of Italian. You can get pizza everywhere in Airolo (very good too) but this was easily the best meal. Loved the music too
