"At the entrance there is a hint that one should wait there for his table assignment, there one waits for quite a long time until a Mitarebiter comes and there were always snakes. It was good to have the reservation confirmation, because it was not found by the staff. Beverages were only brought to demand for 20 minutes, then we waited 90 minutes after we asked for 70 minutes. The sanitary facilities are in such a state that the trade supervision and also the hotel and the Gastättenverband would be interested in this. The vast majority of service staff is very striving, but there were also employees for which they serve under their dignity, the dishes were dismissed wordless, and left as soon as possible by turning the guest. Overall, there seems to be too little and poorly coordinated staff. And it seems that no value has been placed on the vote with each other even when such a thing has been done. Not only for the customer an unsightly situation as well as for the employees. In addition, guests were sent away on the grounds that they were not reserved, although at that time and also 120min. later at least 3 tables were free. Too bad, the good food offer, unfortunately, enters something into the HIntergrund and if you like me invited guests, you are already trying to be ashamed of yourself."

"Geworben hat das Lokal mit "meesesfrüchten und mediterranem". Geboten wird eine Art studentenküche mit schlechtem Service. Der schlechte Service mag Zufall sein. Ungewöhnlich ausgelastet, problematische Aushilfen .... geschenkt. Aber die Küche ist einfach nicht gut. Stutzig wurden wir schon bei der Karte: Viel zu viele Gerichte. So eine große Auswahl kann man kaum frisch vorhalten. Dann habe ich (weil es keine anderen Meeresfrüchte gab) Gambas in Weissweinsauce bestellt. Ich bekam aber eine Sahne-Currysauce, die so lange auf der Warmhalteplatte stand, dass die Sauce schon eine Haut gebildet hatte. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, das sei keine Verwechselung. Da sei auch Weißwein drin. Die Vorspeise hieß irgendwie fantasievoll, es waren bruschetta. Allerdings in zu viel Öl angebraten, so dass es letztlich frittiertes Brot war mit einer Tomatenpampe on top, die ebenfalls taub und abgestanden aussah und schmeckte. Gemessen an dieser Qualität auch noch zu teuer. Geht auch nicht als ehrlich und authentisch durch. Komplett misslungenes Konzept. Ich verstehe die vielen guten Bewertungen nicht."

"Very nice ambience, very delicious food (also fish and meat very good), very friendly service. Those who know the good quality and familial atmosphere of the Mondo-Lieferpizze in Giesenkirchen also love Mondo as a Trattoria in Korschenbroich (same owner) for cozy food."

"A very nice wine and barbecue evening on a long table. Great food combined with sophistication and complemented with excellent wine tasting. The wines also offered one or other surprises such as e.g. a Lambrusco as a starter, who may recall youth sins but has absolutely nothing to do with such memories. First-class, excellently selected to the corridors. The board has helped to talk to foreign people and, above all, laughed together afterwards. Those who are not afraid of it and want to have new conversations with very good ambience and food are recommended to those events that take place regularly. Our first “tafel event” of this kind in stappen, but certainly not the last!"

"Wir waren mit 5 Leuten zum Abendessen hier und waren alle sehr angetan! Die in Industrie-Chic gestalteten Räumlichkeiten wirken trotz ihrer fabrikartigen Ausmaße einladend, sind liebevoll dekoriert und gemütlich beleuchtet. Neben verschiedenen Bieren vom Fass und guter Weinauswahl ist besonders das Essen zu loben: alles wird frisch zubereitet (deshalb kann es auch teilweise etwas länger dauern) und die Auswahl aus der mediterranen Küche ist vielfältig. Türkische Pizzen, Salate und verschiedenste Tapas für jeden Geschmack - auch als Vegetarier findet man hier reichlich. Alles war sehr lecker und besonders. An Wochenenden finden interessante Veranstaltungen statt (Konzerte, Lesungen etc.). Insgesamt freue ich mich, dass Mönchengladbach mit dem Messajero eine gute und trotzdem entspannte Alternative zu all dem Pizza/Pasta-Einheitsbrei bieten kann."
