"We visited on the 31st after a traumatic trip around around the country lanes of Dorset in a 24ft long camper. So a small back street coffee was very much needed. And I'm glad we stumbled across this one. Its a family run venture, owned by the daughter, with help from dad (I think I have that right) . The food is not pretentious, nicely made, and pretty generous portions. You order a baguette you get a warm french stick instead of the usual part baked stick that is mostly crust. And the owner makes an amazing iced coffee. Service is warm and friendly and dad wafts around cleaning tables making chit chat, with everyone. The cake is also to die for, which they were happy to box up for me to take away because I was stuffed. In fact dad came racing down the high street after us to give us our body board back that I stupidly left behind. Over all, a nice chilled out friendly chatty experience, nice simple home made food. I wish the young lady all the best with her venture."

The best crab sandwiches in town, served by the gentlest people. My wife and I visit whenever we holiday here and the service and the food are always spot on. Decent coffee too!

Had a great experience at this cafe. Staff very friendly and menu was just what we were looking for. We all had different meals, from a ploughman’s to just crumpets and cream tea. Lovely interior and would highly recommend

On a rainy afternoon, we stumbled upon "Stanleys" and were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome despite the miserable weather. We only had tea and coffee, which were reasonably priced, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. This place is worth seeking out as a unique alternative to the chain cafes in the area.

A small coffee shop centrally situated with so much more on offer. We visit each year when on holiday in Weymouth and have always enjoyed the food , the welcome and genuinely friendly, attentive service. Prices are very reasonable too. Home made cakes are lovely and the lunches included a very generous ploughman’s and a excellent crab sandwich View menu

We stumbled upon a delightful surprise as we wandered down one of the main shopping streets in Weymouth. The coffee, including an iced coffee and a latte, was excellent, and the dessert was delicious. What truly made our experience special was the engaging conversation we had with the owners, Charlotte and Tim. Our hour-long visit at the restaurant was simply perfect.

We were on a long weekend break in Weymouth to celebrate my 80th birthday and were looking for a cafe to shelter from the horrendous rain . Most were closed but we noticed this one was open so went in and how pleased we were. The atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming. The service was first class and it was obviously so clean and looked after with great pride, what food we had was of top quality and delicious. If we come to Weymouth again we will certainly make a beeline for this delightful cafe, it helped to make my 80th birthday weekend and the 200 mile journey to Weymouth a great and pleasurable time.
