"Unique experience with amazing view (at the back of the tearoom). Very friendly staff ready to meet our needs every time we visit. Selection on the menu depends on the number of people passing through that day, but still there is a choice and hot chocolate deluxe is a must there for us as well as ice cream. Their beautiful gift shop is like no other too. No cheap tat like in other places. Most of the gifts are hand-made by local makers to a very high standard. We always go there to find gifts for special occasions. The girls are going well above their job description, shame that they have to work as car park attendees too and take the blame for high prices forced by Bolton Abbey Estate."

A warm welcome and friendly service. Lovely coffee and yummy cakes. The toasties and bacon rolls are really moorish! A great place to stop at the end of a walk.

I don't normally leave reviews but I couldn't believe the price of an ordinary cheese toastie at £6.95 and the same price for a plain ham sandwich. Nothing special sandwich. Harrods prices on a paper plate.

Stopped by for coffee, food and ice cream. Was told by a snooty lady it was £10 per day to park and we had to have a barcode. Told her I didn't know what barcode she meant but she just kept repeating. Told her we...

Had a selection of hot drinks after walking around The Strid. The coffee and hot chocolate drinks were delicious. What made it even more special was the fact the cafe accepts dogs (the waitress gave our 2 dogs a dog biscuit on the way in...

What a hidden gem to have come across Strid Wood Tea Rooms. We annually start our Yorkshire Dales Trip with Bolton Abbey and came across Strid Wood. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by Trinity Nicky. Felt very safe with the social...

We stopped at this lovely cafe part way round our walk from Bolton Abbey. Visiting as a family with two children we were impressed by the selection on the lunchtime menu, with plenty of good options for children too. The soup and tasty bread was...

I have visited several times now and everything I have loved being there. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. The place is very clean and the food display is so inviting with a wide variety to choose from. I highly recommend visiting the tea room after a walk.

DONT BOTHER with this over priced and nasty little place. As soon as you arrive the staff charge out and aggresively demand you pay for parking. We were going in!!!! We had two pieces of old dry cake and luke warn tea. There was a human nail in one of the cake slices. Utterly disgusting experience. Never again.

Never has this place let us down, with very friendly service, and great food cooked exactly to my specifications. I love the gift shop. Others report food running out, as do other places where custom demand, versus lack of staff, who work seven days, a week, this is nothing out of the ordinary on occasion. I can only comment negatively on one thing, the poor staff have to man the extortionatly priced car parking, alongside running a lovely tearoom, which they do so well, which leads to heavier workload. Regardless, they never complain.....fabulous as always, Diane and Nicci.
