we had a family holiday on Sundays. the personal could not have been more friendly or more. all our guests commented on the welcoming and generous nature of the personal, the delicious food (especially the beautiful cake), and the brilliant room and view. we have absolutely loved our time there and will book with david and team in a heartbeat.

a tasty roast. comes as small, medium or large. even the little one needs something to eat. perfect if they like a lot of well cooked meat, crack, gravy and roasted root veg with yorkies. teller also came with filling and apfelsoße . really top-notch roast dinner I appreciate for my taste buds anyway) it is the best I eat 've better than any pub or carvery. the 'small' frying dinner is 7 quid so incredible value too.

found this place on the off-channel many years ago after living in peterborough almost my whole life. popped in to see what it was all, has not a full frying, but found out that they have sizes of frying in a roll, of which they give them the choice of the meat they have on this day, they can all desire the delightfulness of an English frying on the movement in a roll! not only that the frying dinner are always hot and enjoyable, the place is too great now with the woman a roll game:d

We had two small roast beef meals that were far from satisfactory, reasons being the beef was dry, potatoes more boiled then roasted, the cabbage like it had been stewed for days, the Yorkshire pudding was thick, misshapen and stale and the gravy had the consistency of thick glue. To top it all, by the time we sat down at the table our meals were lukewarm to cold. Horrible meals to say the least. When Sundays was operating some years ago near the shopping centre the food was great, fresher and served hot. Shame the place has deteriorated!

Found this place on the off chance many years ago after living in Peterborough nearly all my life. Popped in to see what it was all about, didn't fancy a full roast but found out that they do sizes of roast in a roll of which they give you the choices of meat they have on that day, you can have all the glory of an English roast on the move in a roll! Not only that the roast dinners are always hot and enjoyable, location is a bit to be desired as no much room for expansion but all in all a great food experience. Off to get a roll with the Mrs now :D

Thought we would support local business when visiting Sundays for the first time. Ordered 2 breakfasts with one tea and one coffee. Drinks arrived, tea was hot, coffee luke warm it was replaced after complaining. Breakfasts arrived after 15 mins. However no cutlery or toast, further unexplained wait for the cutlery. Breakfasts were disappointing. Barely warm baked beans, overcooked rock hard bacon and a fried egg that was also over cooked. No runny yoke. First impressions count as a local resident, l won’t be returning. I will stick with the chains!

Ordered the breakfast meal deal for myself and 2 family members. Was overcharged, which they later corrected. My egg and bacon roll was dry and unpleasant. The fried potatoes did not arrive and we had to ask for them and then wait. Some of them were undercooked. My daughter’s tea bag had a hole in it. No serviettes and no cutlery provided, had to use our fingers. One small portion of tomato sauce between 3. Really aweful. Seating uncomfortable thin wooden benches around the edge. Table very wonky and moved when leaning on it. Dirty environment around windows etc.

Visited late Saturday afternoon, checked with the guys as it was near to closing time, no problem shown to a lovely room with a fantastic view of the cathedral. We were advised that the roast options had sold out (expected this due to the time of day) we ordered our drinks and sandwiches. The coffees, tea hot chocolate weer all great the sandwiches (complete with salad and crisps) filled us up! I can personally vouch for the ham, mustard cucumber ones and no complaints from the other family members about their triple cheese /homemade pickle, egg cress and salmon /cream cheese ones either. A hidden gem right in the shadow of the cathedral, will defo return earlier to try a roast when in Peter...

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon for a cold drink and a scone. I wanted to sit outside because the weather was nice, but the only available table was covered in dirty plates, glasses, cups, and cans. When I went inside, I found that every table was also piled high with dirty dishes and half-eaten meals, with flies buzzing around. Eventually, a table outside became available and I ordered a coke and a scone, asking for the table to be cleared. A reluctant staff member cleared the table, but didn't bother to clean up spilled salt, ketchup, or the general mess. Another customer was even moving dirty plates from her table to another without any staff member taking notice. When my...
