"A lovely and different evening out for two bubbled friends. The menu was sensible in length and our choices well prepared and presented. The Ox Cheek was a good main course choice and the treacle tart delicious whilst the chicken terrine and ham hock starters were both very tasty. We ate in the Great Conservatory which was beautifully lit to show off the architecture at its best. Dress warmly as the space is huge but rugs are available as back up to the heating. Service was friendly but it took ages to attract someone to get the bill and we did have to get new napkins as those on the table were really damp. My nephew went to lunch in an igloo last week and his family loved that, especially as their baby and his pram fitted and the baby wasn't disturbing other diners. Signposting to the entrance from the car park could have been a lot clearer so arrive in time to hunt it out! Well done to this business for such a creative idea in the time of COVID. Do support this if you can."

The food only lost points as it was cool on the edges although a perfect temperature inside.

The prices are too high for what you get, and the portions are very tiny. There were no side vegetables or bread included. I was really disappointed, especially since I chose this place for a 21st birthday lunch celebration.

Service was so slow, every time we wanted something we had to call waiters over. Food was very average for the price. Treacle tart was so thick and cold and not enjoyable at all. There was a heater which was blowing out super hot air then the next minute it was cold air. Was left very disappointed View menu

I had a lovely experience at this restaurant, thanks to the beautiful ambiance and the friendly staff. However, there were some issues with attention to detail. For instance, the amuse bouche was served before I had even taken off my coat, which made me feel rushed right from the start. We also had to ask for bread and to have our drinks refilled. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress either; it felt like typical mass-catered wedding fare.

To be honest, our experience was quite disappointing. The service felt amateurish, from the personalized touches to the dining experience itself. It reminded me of a lower-end chain restaurant, with frozen food and a mix of loud, jarring Christmas music that clashed with the bare, uninviting decor. We struggled to read the menu, and we're only in our 40s! The cocktails were particularly poor—some of the worst I've ever had—as even the glasses felt sticky and cheap. While it was nice to get out, we certainly would have preferred to dine somewhere else, especially after spending over £200 for two adults and a teenager. I would not recommend this place.

hello We were very excited to see this pop up as we were married in the same spot 10 years ago. We obviously love Syon Park and the conservatory and whilst the food was good (the starter and main in particular, the pudding we could both have left which is not like us), the service was a little lacklustre. We asked for a G&T on arrival and it was served in a tiny, musty glass. When I politely asked if they had any larger glasses i was just told NO. we also had to keep looking around for staff. Basically no one tried to go above and beyond. not impressed and sadly when a friend asked whether we recommended whether they should go, we weren't sure what to say... View menu

To be honest, my experience was quite disappointing. It felt very amateurish, from the service to the food. It reminded me of Beefeater Pubs, with frozen meals, and the lighting was truly dreadful. The loud rock and roll Christmas music was completely inappropriate for a space that lacked any soft furnishings, making it hard to read the menu (and we’re only in our 40s!). The cocktails were possibly the worst I’ve ever tasted, and even the glasses felt cheap and tacky. While it was nice to get out, we could have had a much better meal almost anywhere else, especially considering we spent over £200 for two adults and a teenager. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Sadly we were extremely disappointed with our afternoon tea in the Great Conservatory. The website advertised a plush looking conservatory but when we arrived there weren’t even tablecloths on the tables! Our table was covered in flies and we had to ask the waiter to clean it. The waitress who brought the tea had a huge thick coat and scarf on. It was very cold. The tea was very mediocre. The scones were cold and rock hard. Sandwiches were pretty uninspiring and not plentiful. We had 1 finger of cucumber sandwich, 1 finger of ham with grape mustard and a tiny rye toast with salmon and a tot of cream cheese per person. Just 1 tiny scone each, a macaron and a slice of Black Forest gateau type...
