As we were staying at Palacio Blanco this was our local restaurant. Used by the locals , excellent value and fresh tapas. The wines were reasonably priced and excellent friendly service.

Espectacular atún rojo de almadraba q tienen y las distintas preparaciones q realizan. Las almejas son una locura y la calidad de sus productos es excelente. Sin duda de los mejores sitios para para disfrutar de los productos del mar en Vélez Málaga. Ambiente familiar y agradable. View menu

The name and location listed here actually closed a couple of years ago. The same owners have a new place called La Tapería de Domi located at Calle Félix Lomas, 31 which is not listed on Tripadvisor so the recent photos and reviews are for the new place. It’s a small and busy bar with tapas and raciones mainly focused on seafood but they also do meat dishes. We had prawns pil pil, tuna tataki and a dish of fried fresh artichoke with serrano ham. Everything was delicious and the service was very friendly and efficient. We had a great time and would definitely go back!

Un sitio ideal en pleno centro de Vélez-Málaga, eb c/ Felix Lomas (calle de Las Monjas, por la ubicación del antiguo Monasterio de Ntra Sra de Gracia de las RRMM. Clarisas). Pescado y mariscos frescos que harán una delicia tu estancia, unidos una carta de entrantes, carnes, tapas, tostas y postres de la mejor calidad, todo regado con una vinacoteca de primera. Y como guinda el trato y el servicio de Lucía y Domi sus anfitriones. Ambiente de amistad, tranquilidad y un lugar que no dejaremos de visitar. Junto al Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de la capital de la Axarquía. Enhorabuena amigos.

We were recommended this place by Maria from Palacio Blanco (the hotel where we were staying). We were offered seat outside which are on a quiet street. The waiter took the drinks order and arrived back with them quickly. He then attempted to translate the Spanish menu into English. I choose the steak which came in pieces on a red hot metal plate which allowed me to cook the meat exactly as I liked it. It tasted amazing, My wife ordered languistine skewers which she said were very good. Our friend had pieces of pork with chips. We ordered a large tuna salad to accompany the food. Everything was fresh and scrumptious. Would recommend this place and will certainly go back when back at Palacio. View menu
