"We felt very good here, the hotel was recently renovated, so its modern and well equipped. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In summer you can bring your dog for a small fee. Food was amazing, once a week cook prepare tasting menu 4 courses for hotel guests, food was fresh and made at home. I would appreciate a little larger offer for breakfast, but it was enough to consider that we visited in low season and hotel was relatively empty. There is also wellness, but we have not visited so that I can not check. Overal i would give 5/5 do not dissapointed."

This pizzeria is well hidden from passing view about 100 metres off the main street in Colfosco. It is worth looking for though and is almost more easily...

Siamo stati al ristorante che si trova sotto l'albergo. Menù vario, piatti ben cucinati, personale gentile, servizio veloce, prezzi adeguati. Se vi trovate a Colfosco consiglio di visitarlo.

A wonderful small hotel. Lovely rooms, fantastic (really) food, friendly staff. Go for half board which is good value over b&b. In hot weather consider a room on the North side (back) as there is no aircon.

"We have been to Abruzzo three times since 2015 and always make the journey to this wonderful mountain restaurant regardless of how far out of the way it is. The family who run the place showed us such kindness on our first visit that seeing them again is like a reunion. The menu is pretty much unchanged each time we come, which is fine for us, because our visits are separated by years of nostalgic longing to taste the dishes again. The bountiful antipasti are wonderful with local meats and cheeses drizzled with honey. This time, we ordered the famous wild boar with pappardelle and a new dish for us, tiny gnocchi with asparagus sauce. We couldn’t really identify any asparagus in the dish, and it wasn’t the right season for it, but it was delicious, nevertheless. Halfway through the meal, we were too full to finish. Our hosts kindly wrapped up the leftovers to take away and we enjoyed them the following night, a great distance from Pescosansonesco. We now follow this restaurant on Facebook and it goes through remarkable changes throughout the year, hosting weddings, parties, and celebrations, with the tables and spaced arranged for optimum enjoyment. Depending upon when you come, you might be the only people there, or you might share the dining room as we did with a group of travelling horse cart drivers whose horses are tied to the railings outside, or you might even find yourself part of a mid-winter festival with live music and costumed saints and devils chasing in one door and out another. Whenever you come, you are certain to have wonderful food and hospitality."
