Un piccolo paradiso .... A chi piace la natura, la freschezza del cibo... e la gentilezza dei gestori...è un posto da dover considerare se venite a Montecatini Terme per passare qualche giorno! ....

We have stayed here one week, and it has been a very god experience. The house is very tidy and clean, and David and his wife are making the food from the ground. They grow and produce their own olive oil organic. The surroundings and the medieval villages in the area are very beautiful and the nature is classic Tuscany. We very mush recommend to come here and explore the surroundings; the quietness and the house itself...

Dave and Georgia are very knowledgeable and hospitable. They clearly have a passion for olive oil and for teaching people about it. Add to that the very warmest of Italian hospitality and fantastic cooking with generously proportioned meals, and you have a wonderful experience well worth traveling off the beaten path for. Just watch the time of year. The inn is typically not available during peak harvest season (Oct.-Dec. in the region. They do all their own harvesting!

We had a great family dinner at Tananei. Hidden in the hills of Tuscany lies a wonderful farmhouse with a great athmospere. We had a warm welcome by David, who explained how his adventure started while he showed us around the renovated farmhouse. Therafter we had dinner with all local fresh ingredients and full of taste combined with a nice Chianti. Thank you David and please continue to pursue your passion. We’ll think about our time at your place each time when we taste your home made olive oil.

We stayed in Tananei for 3 days, and everything was amazing. The place is really relaxing with the olive trees around you, while you can also easily reach beautiful Tuscan cities from here. The house and the room were also very homey and beautiful. But the best of the bests was the outstanding hospitality and kindness of the hosts, David and Georgia!! Don't miss their special dinner (at the weekends only) which are made with local ingredients of excellent quality and based on traditional recipe. Highly recommended!

The Farm to Table experience was amazing!! We learned a lot about the production of high quality olive oil and had a wonderful dinner with a perfect view into the olive groves! The food was delicious. David and Giorgia served typical food from the Tuscany and the dinner was accompanied by some red wine from the region. We highly recommend this experience to everyone who visits Tuscany and especially to everyone who loves good food, olive oil, wine, warm-hearted people/hosts and an amazing view!! Tananei is a very special place, where you feel like home from the first minute! David and Giorgia are amazing hosts!

L'agriturismo Tananei si trova in uno splendido casale d'epoca, sapientemente ristrutturato. L'ambiente è intimo e familiare, le stanze sono spaziose, ben arredate, pulite e dotate di ogni comfort. Bagno grande con doccia molto ampia, letto comodo. Anche gli spazi esterni sono molto piacevoli, ci si può davvero rilassare immersi nella natura. La colazione è ottima con dolci e marmellate fatti in casa, così come la cena con pietanze e prodotti tipici del posto. La location è molto comoda per visitare le tante bellezze artistiche e naturali che si trovano nelle vicinanze. Infine, un ringraziamento speciale a Giorgia e a David, i proprietari, per averci fatto sentire meglio che a casa.

Amazing experience at Tananei! We were 7 friends and did the olive oil tour followed by a dinner. Its a 4 hours experience that we did in the evening. 100% recommended! The hosts are so passionate about what they do. They'll tell you lots of stories, not only about the olive oil they produce but also about food in Tuscany and their experience renovating a 19th century farm into a lovely bed and breakfast. We first started with a little explanation on olive oil tasting and got a behind the scenes of how they harvest the olives. Then we visited the olive grooves hidden in the Tuscan hills.
