Taverna Platon - Menu

Als wir das Local betraten, waren wir erst skeptisch. Doch wir haben selten bei einem Griechen so gut gegessen.

Located in the heart of Monheim, Taverna Platon offers a very good cuisine from Greece. Especially good are the many appetizers you can enjoy there. What bothers is the counter where there is usually something louder, but so there is no long time. View menu

Nice little shop that unfortunately has little to do at noon than I was there on Saturday, where I don't understand the dishes are great and the prices are more than fair, where the appetizers in relation to the main dishes are too expensive but the gyros is quite great!

Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal bei Taverna Platon essen gewesen. Diesmal ziemlich spät, erst nach 21 Uhr. Das Essen war perfekt, die Bedienung war gut drauf. Trotz der späten Stunde haben wir nicht lange auf das Essen gewartet und konnten ein excellentes Abendessen genießen. Das Lokal ist empfehlenswert.

Nach einem Gruppenbesuch beim ersten Mal war ich dieses Mal allein im Platon. Der Empfang war freundlich-herzlich, das Essen war gut (lediglich das Gyros hätte wirklich noch etwas saftiger sein dürfen). Auch der obligatorische "Spiritosos Flammos" aka Ouzo wurde serviert (was ich aber positiv finde, erst nach vorheriger Frage des Wirtes).Lediglich etwas wärmer hätte es sein dürfen. View menu

I can only recommend. There has been more contempt with colleagues and my family at festivals, etc. Of course you have to reserve the guest room before, otherwise everything goes very smoothly. Staff and food are great, and I am also a very big fan of Greek cuisine. The Taverna Platon is especially suitable for business dinners as it is always relatively quiet and there is something for everyone.

A really great Greek restaurant. The owner welcomes every guest by hand and is very friendly. The prices are to be seen and there are the best bifteki I know. Of course, the dishes are all greichisch, but there are also carvings and steaks for those who do not like Greek. Salad is typical for vinegar and oil, but not everyone. We have visited this place for several years and have always been happy.

Taverna Platon ist mein absoluter "Lieblings-Grieche". Und ich habe schon viele ausprobiert.Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach, was mich aber absolut nicht stört. Die Familie ist immer sehr herzlich und man fühlt sich immer willkommen.Der Service ist super, man wartet selten länger auf Getränke oder Speisen. Zur Begrüßung bekommt man nach Nachfrage immer einen Ouzo.Das Essen ist absolut top. Ich esse zwar fast immer die "105", kann aber alles empfehlen.Ich wohne seit einigen Jahren nicht mehr in Monheim, bin aber trotzdem noch häufig dort zu Gast. View menu
