very friendly and welcoming. service was fast, eating came without long waiting and was very tasty.

Great menu, food prepared well, but the taste was not there. Rabbit was bland. Pork loin very good, let down by the belly and croquet. Service was low key. 50/50 if we return.

I booked for four of us to have a pre-Theatre dinner at Teatro and everything from booking on line, our welcome at the restaurant, the service and food were all excellent. Lovely ambiance too. Would definitely recommend whatever the occasion..

We had Sunday lunch, the fish, cod, was good and the starters were also fine however the main course of pork belly wasn’t great: the pork was dry, the roast potatoes, stuffing and Yorkshire pudding were over-roasted and tough. we had the pleasure of eating here for my partner birthday. eating was delicious, the environment was very relaxed and slender, the live pianist who also sang was a brilliant note. the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, a really great evening and an exceptionally well organized restaurant that deserves 5 stars

Our first visit to Téatro after hearing great things about the restaurant, we were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and were seated at our table promptly. All 3 courses were beautifully presented and absolutely scrumptious! Cannot fault the food, service or setting. The live pianist Steve Reid was an unexpected highlight too. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

I chose the wild mushroom soup as a starter. A small portion but the taste was very good. No bread on the table so ordered some bread when my soup arrived. Ideally small French baguette would have been nice but as I finished my soup some slices of sourdough arrived with some oil and balsamic dip. Not helpful as I had finished my soup. I had the house burger as a main with some fries. A huge portion of fries and a very tasty burger. Ordered some English mustard but only wholegrain available. My wife however having ordered the sea bass was delighted with the presentation of the grilled fish but had ordered some seasonal vegetables as a side dish as the fish came with nothing.
