unpredictable caffe with good vegan food and beautiful coworkers. our lunches took one, so they gave us cake later. we look forward to a visit.

large selection of cakes and food available, just one candy, it is not completely vegan. we ordered the vegan full English and it was big enough to share with coffee and cake

Great choice of food, desserts and tea. Love the atmosphere and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Love the space in the basement, great place for private events and parties! Updated from previous review on 2021-12-02

Had a really good lunch after a long walk alongside the river. The Philly cheesefake really hit the spot washed done with a bottle of windmill IPA. Very nice building, cool inside, staff really friendly and the food and drink very reasonably priced

I've been to Temperance several times for both events and just a drink and cake. It has a lovely atmosphere and I really appreciate the owners drive to make it a hub for the local community. Drinks and cakes are lovely, savoury dishes are a tad pricy. The staff are all lovely!! View menu

Lots of options for GF vegans and the cake was amazing. Stupendous selection to teas are on offer as well as every coffee option you could ask for. Alas I was hoping for lunch but the chef was I’ll today but the options are good on their menu so I will be back for food, tea and cake-would be rude not to.

great little sound, super cozy atmosphere with mismatched furniture and carpet. the food was nice, we tried the falafel sandwich, the sourdough toastie and the curry. Portioning were quite large (the curry came with rice and two roasted flat broths.) curry was a bit bland, but different from all this was really delicious.

This is a really lovely cafe with friendly staff and a great community feel. The daytime menu is predominantly vegan and has a great selection of paninis and sandwiches. The quiche although it was listed on the vegan menu was served from the counter and not the kitchen had goats cheese. The cakes were a mix of vegan and veggie. We had the steak' and cheese philly panini, blackberry and apple cake and chocolate oreo cake which was all delicious. There is a good selection of teas and the hot chocolate was nice. Apparently in the evening the kitchen is used as a pop up and so the food could be anything. We will definitely return. Updated from previous review on 2022-03-09 View menu
