"Was quite shocked at the service at this place and the food was nothing to shout about to be honest..... The service is like military precision, stand in the wrong place and you are told to go to the back of the queue, I felt like a naughty school girl! Luckily the lady behind me did say I had stood in the queue in front of her, phew! When my food arrived, it was literally thrown on my table, on the tray by a waitress that never even said enjoy or made any comments at all.... not a good advert for this cafe. The food was OK, but would not rush back! I think the staff need to learn some manners tbh, they cost nothing!"

Decent vegan breakfast and friendly service. Lovely looking little cafe too. Hard to find a vegan breakfast around here.

I will never return to this restaurant. The sausage was cheap and the butter was frozen. The food was tasteless and far too expensive. Come on, Tesco, you can do better than this.

Sausages undercooked.Fried egg still snotty.Bacon very salty. Beans just warm.Toast hardly made it from the bread stage, barely singed in toaster.Very poor indeed. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Daz, Tom staff are a credit to Tesco. Been going for about a year now and always friendly and professional. The bacon baps are great!! Thank you for staying open for take-aways in Lockdowns 2 3. Kind Regards, Richard View menu

I visited the Tesco cafe on Saturday, April 15th, 2023. I ordered a ham and cheese panini, chips, and a pot of tea. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. I especially enjoyed the chunky chips. The meal was great value for the price, and I will definitely be returning in the future.

We ordered a veggie breakfast and a tomato and avocado on toast with extra toast. Really nicely presented, tasty and good value. My extra toast came with butter though, apparently they don't have margarine but I wish people would not serve butter with a vegan breakfast!! Service was quick though the cafe was quite empty. All the breakfast products are nearly cold, especially the eggs! Warm bread........ that they call toast! Not going to waste anymore time going back however handy it is, sick off giving it another try! and having to send the food back for them to warm it up in microwave!i can think of a lot cheaper places with better warmer meals! Waste of time and money!

We decided to have breakfast at the cafe in Tesco before doing our shopping. The breakfast options were limited, but we chose the egg and bacon brioche roll with orange juice for me and coffee for my husband. To our surprise, the brioche roll came with caramelized onion chutney, scrambled egg, bacon, and a slice of plastic cheese. While it was tasty, it was a bit pricey at over £13 for the meal. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant, but we probably wouldn't make it a regular dining spot.

"Attended a family wedding here recently. The restaurant, the location and the facilities were top notch, I think you would have to work hard to improve on what they have achieved here. However, the bar staff in the first floor function suite leave much to be desired ! Their attitude and reaction to the wedding guests during the wedding reception and evening event should definatly be improved ! It began with the sullen faces of the waiting staff during the reception , most should learn how to smile only one lady waitress blonde hair new starter was polite and smiled give her a job in staff training We asked for a bread roll during lunch, to be told, only for guests who have ordered soup ! Eventually after asking again they brought two over for the brides father... The evening event was a challenge when we struggled to understand why the part bottles of wine had disappeared from the table, when most of the guests were drinking spirits and beer etc. The penny , or should I say the C £17,000 dropped when the waitresses were removing full glasses of drinks from the table without checking! When challenged , the nonchalant response was to place the drinks back on the table and march off like petulant teenager! Our dismay was amplified the following day during a conversation with the restaurant manager told us , that 's what we do, If you need to keep your opened bottles of wine on the table you need to let us know , otherwise they will be removed! oh, so the wine is cleared along with the newly poured drinks too then? I don 't think we, or anyone else we know have ever been to a restaurant and even thought to tell the waiting staff not to take the half bottles of wine away before they have been emptied ? This usual practice was not discussed when we booked ! A cynic could suspect they re sell the newly recovered wine by the glass. This said, the manager did compensate with two bottles of the brides choice , so thanks for recognising the issue. But please consider NOT removing part bottles etc without checking in the first place."
