"terrible eating, terrible and rude service at thai dusit in derby. I must admit that I had the most terrible experience in this restaurant. the food was badly cooked, gummy, bought in frozen mull that we found incredible! when I said to the waitress that the Thai fish cake I had for the starter (in the menu as original famous, I don't think! weren't very nice that she recognized my complaining. When my man asked to taste the cook, the manager came out of the fire. she said it was normal (not very pleasant, either it was actually chewing, watery and generally disgusting. then we were told that no one complained and when I said we... read more"

We returned to Thai Dusit yesterday after trying their lunch menu in summer, and finding it to be pleasant and well priced.

Very tasty food, and big variety of the way of cooking the food. The quality and quantity for the price is also very good. Definitely recommend it.

Delicious dishes, and very good service. Clean toilets and surroundings made it worth the visit. The waiter was cheerful and very welcoming. Tried the Sweet Sour Chicken Thai Style and loved it! Will certainly go back to Thai Dusit on next visit to Derby.

Take always and dine in at this restaurant have always been excellent. However the lamb in my chefs special curry on Saturday was aged and tough lamb in fact it was tough mutton- and yes I am qualified to comment on the issue. I planned to email them direct rather than post on TA but the website has no email contact. So please Thai Dusit change the lamb/ mutton supplier asap.

Visited on a Friday night. Restaurant was quiet, but this probably due to Covid worries. The staff were all wearing masks and sanitiser was plentiful! There were 6 of us and our food was all served hot and at the same time. The flavours were heavenly, even our fussy teenagers enjoyed the meal. A lovely treat in these unprecedented times, where we felt normal for a couple of hours. No complaints from us re dry or overcooked chicken, we found everything to be perfect. We hope to be back to try more dishes from the extensive menu.

"My friend and I wanted somewhere different to go for some late lunch and so we decided on the Cosy Club. Although my friend had been once before a while back, it was my very first time visiting. As you walk in, you're greeted with an almost vintage-y feel and it's great! Old paintings upon the wall and retro furniture too, but that's not all. Ascending the stairs to the top, we got to the first bit of the club which is the bar area and what a fab area it is too, to relax and enjoy and Beveridge or two. Further down is where the restaurant is located and a lovely restaurant it is too. Very ornate with a fancy oldy-worldy vibe, almost like stepping back in time. The decor and glass chandeliers make for a very luxurious, almost palatial feel. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a table where after a short time of waiting, we had water poured for us before choosing what we'd like to eat and drink. I decided to go for the dirty chicken burger and I'm glad I did. The portion size was great, and there was plenty going on in the burger; the flavours were tantalising! Everything was cooked really well and tasted good (oh and the berry cider they have is certainly worth a try! After spending time enjoying our meal, we paid for the bill and were able to make our way, with our drinks, to the bar area to take a sit and enjoy the vibe further. I would certainly recommend the Cosy Club to anyone looking for something different, with a cool vibe and great food. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable visit, will certainly be returning! :"
