"We stayed for the first time at Thamarai in Heilbronn for the weekend and are absolutely thrilled. Since we had made a reservation in advance, we quickly got our table. As an appetizer we had Chicken Rolls, as a main dish the Tamko and Paruppu Curry. The courtesy and friendly service was particularly noteworthy. Everyone who has a preference for Indian food will love Sri Lanka's cuisine! The only thing that disturbed me a little was the parking situation on Saturday night. Is not really owed to the Thamarai, but rather to the fact that Alt-Sontheim has developed into a restaurant and Ausgehviertel and many people are looking for a parking lot. This means that you should plan 15 minutes for the parking search. Right in front of the restaurant there are 3 in-house parking spaces, but they are quickly occupied on a Saturday. It has nothing to do with food, it was just great! We're coming back."

Great food. The restaurant is traditionally decorated and cozy. The service is really good and you take time for the guests. I can only recommend the restaurant. Top and earned 5 stars!

I can recommend the restaurant to everyone! The place is super furnished. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The service staff was very hospitable and accommodating. Clearly more than 5 stars surpassed and certainly not my last time!

The armchairs are very comfortable and the distance between the tables I find especially decent. There you don't get the feeling of eating fish on can evening. The amounts are in a good and saturating dimension. The staff worked hard, well maintained and beautiful. We also find the prices fair.

Top food! I always like to order the Kothu or Tamko (speciality of the house). You realize the food is prepared with a lot of love and effort. The takeaway service offered is also recommended. I order to take with you more often and every time the food is ready to go. Very reliable, reputable and LECKER!

The place is new, the renovation works are e.g. T. not yet fully completed (especially from outside). However, this has no influence on the ambience. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Large images on the walls with Indian theme make a domestic impression. The food is very delicious. The combination of different spices is excellent. There is only one criticism: Waiting times are a little long. But everything else is true. The service is very friendly and accommodating. I would like to come back and recommend a visit.

Thamarai, an interesting restaurant that stands out from the average! Fresh preparation of the dishes offered. The menu is very well defined, from which meals also arise for each guest with their own preferences. The staff is extremely polite and super-launched. A first-class service with a comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the parking lot is also plentiful to the restaurant. The visit was definitely worth it. I look forward to the next visit with my family! Thank you. Thamarai Team!

I had ordered Panir Butter Masala, the dish with Indian cheese and as a drink Mango Mai Tai. So the court is just another world. The cheese does not disintegrate like the feta cheese and simply has a very special bite. The sharpness was also great. The service very accommodating and super beautiful. The comments that the waiting period is too long: I cannot understand, because this restaurant is not a quick snack, but a place where you can also talk or just end in the evening, so also the idea of the owners. Especially since the food is fresh(!) prepared, which of course also takes some time. I enjoyed the evening very much! To the cocktail: recommended!! It also cost me a lot with the alcoh...

"I had the luck to stumble over this small but very cozy restaurant along my route from stuttgart to Heilbronnn. atmosphere: when I went to the restaurant, I was greeted by the owner and his beautiful woman with a big smile. I continued. to order the shawarma as a main and a baba ghanouj as an appetizer (it is usual in libanon to start with hummus or baba ghanouj before the main). service: it took abt mins from the point order to get out for eating. the baba ghanouj looked colorful and very appetizing, took the Arabic brot out of the basket and dug in. Eat: - the baba ghanouj tasted very similar to what I used to return to libann. I can agree with authenticity. what I really liked about the plate is the attention for details, the cook understands clearly what with the eyes really mean. as for the chicken chawarma. good quality, it was divine. the chicken was very delicate and full of taste. no rubbery texture, it tastes very fresh. family businesses: the owners seem to enjoy what they do, they serve them with a smile and they feel like they are served by people they know for years. something that many small family restaurants do not do in Germany. kudos! worth for money: I paid for a beautiful part of babaghanouj and a huhn shawarma abt eurs. if they complain about such a price, they should live under a rock. the chicken sawarma costs over eurs and has much more taste than any Turkish döner they have ever. I look forward to my next trip to Heilbronn, I know where I'm going to lunch."
