"If you want to chat to people, this is the place for you. There is always a conversation at the bar ranging from should I cap my energy prices? or debating why a previous review said that there were not enough ladies ' loos (there are two and I 've never had to queue). If you want to have a quiet moment/read a book, get yourself upstairs or into the other ground floor room. If you want to feel safe, valued and looked after, just get yourself through the front door. The beer is great (or so my husband tells me as I 'm Coeliac and never liked beer anyway). However they have cider, wine and soft drinks for the non-believers. This is the ultimate example of a local gem that welcomes everyone who might be in the vicinity."

Old style ratf beer place. Visited a few times and always well stocked and they know how to keep beer at its best.

Super choice of beers. Friendly staff (American lady with awesome taste in music), and great location. London Porter was top notch. Took no pictures sadly...

First visit on a Sunday afternoon, I was the only customer at the time so place lacked atmosphere. They had a good selection of beers and I enjoyed my cider.

Standing room only and Cash bar. Lots of traditional craft beer on sale. Friendly staff and locals. Dog friendly too. Its very small inside so be prepared to stand. Great for just popping in for one. View menu

Popped in for a quick drink after coffees next door- what a cool place! Sat in the window and enjoyed a lovely glass of Merlot . Brilliant range of ales etc and a warm welcome from the lady on the bar!

This small pub/bar/taproom is fantastic! We visited during a day trip to Clitheroe and enjoyed a couple of pints while chatting with the bar manager. She even gave us recommendations for other places to try more beer for the rest of the day.

Found this little gem after coming out of the Holmes mill which we found disappointing, the decor staff and ales are spot on, the ambience and friendliness of the locals is awesome. We met the owner Bill who over 2 nights and several ales told us his life story, what a legend. Can't recommend this place highly enough. A must do for all serious ale drinkers. View menu

The beer at this restaurant is fantastic, but the atmosphere feels old-fashioned and geared towards men. The restroom situation is particularly disappointing- there is only one toilet labeled ‘ladies/disabled’, which was recently used by a man who left it in a mess. Upstairs, there is one toilet labeled ‘ladies/gents’, while the rest are designated for men only. It's about time for some gender equality in restroom facilities!

This charming little restaurant offers a variety of delicious craft beers and ciders. We were able to sit outside and the host quickly brought out extra chairs for everyone. The ladies enjoyed craft G&T's, while the men tried a Berliner, Cloudy Cider, and Craft beer as we relaxed in the sun and watched the world go by, including two impressive Harley Davidsons. It's definitely worth a visit, and maybe even worth staying a bit longer to try more of their offerings if you're not driving afterwards!

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
