This restaurant is a hidden gem! It is a charming and cozy pub with friendly hosts and delicious food. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top marks with a 5-star rating. I highly recommend trying the Cold Rolls dish.

What a wonderful discovery! This restaurant offers plowman's lunches and rolls, but the rolls are truly exceptional. I tried the steak with Stilton, corned beef with mustard, and cheese - all of them were delicious. The portions were generous, perfect for a satisfying yet light lunch.

Quite literally one of the best pubs in England and it has been run by the Macaulay family for over 250 years. The landlord and staff are always welcoming, and the beer is always on form. Grade 2 listed interior, lovely beer garden. And a big selection of rolls are available with generous fillings. This pub is national treasure, you must visit. Price per person: £10–20

Lovely unspoilt old school pub with very friendly landlord and staff. Serves hot rolls with ham, cheese, prawns pickles and onions etc and really good local beers. It’s how pub were when I was a child before they were turned into restaurants. Nice beer garden too and local walks on the downs and ridgeway. We sat outside and enjoyed delicious hot rolls at this restaurant. The menu had a good selection to choose from. However, parking was a bit of a challenge as the car park was full and the extension field was too wet. The roads were also crowded with parked cars. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20. The food was rated 5 out of 5, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. It was difficult to find parking, but there were options for free parking in a lot or on the street. View menu
