"the first time I can do everything today is wow! what an amazing environment for a country pub, one of the best. also the menu offers each from pub classics to homemade selection even curry’s, they call it they have it. I chose homemade steak-ale and mushroom-pis, which was one of the best I tried and my wife had sampi that they really enjoyed. the staff is super friendly, even the poor girl who suffered with a bit of a pain was happy to chat with us. highly recommended and will return 100% here."

the black boy is steep in so much history. it was built in 1793 and has seen two world wars. they will experience this immediately when.

a little expensive. but eating is reliable good, with a huge garden that returns to the canal. they even have a place outside to buy drinks!

two stars that you say?! Why two stars? good, you will forgive for cheap meals and the other for the big beer garden. otherwise I wouldn't go here. View menu

the black boy is an incredibly old pub and they can feel the story of the moment in which they enter, I also want to say it has a great choice of beer.

I went with a large party for lunch on Saturday. We all had lovely meals and the menu had plenty of choice. Portions were very generous and the staff were very friendly. We all had our meals together, which, when there's a lot of you, isn't always the case in other places. The pub is very charming and quaint and in a beautiful position next to the canal. It's a great place for families. We will definitely be going back soon.
