A lovely cafe, with a large choice of meals and cakes. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I loved the chocolate melt drink with marshmallows, and the doorstop sausage sandwich was delicious.

I absolutely adore this place. I recently moved to the area and have already been here three times. The cakes are amazing and reasonably priced. The staff is very accommodating and will try to fit you in if they can.

I highly recommend this delightful tearoom in our village! The cakes are wonderful, and they also offer light lunches and snacks. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff is friendly. I heard that they are under new ownership/management, and the changes are very welcoming.

This bistro is absolutely stunning and the staff are incredibly friendly! They were very welcoming and went above and beyond for us. The homemade food was delicious, reasonably priced, and served in generous portions. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or anyone looking for a great spot to grab a meal!

One of our favorite places to have breakfast over the past few years. The breakfast is made up of good quality produce and we love the garden. However it is a shame the new owner gives you only half a flat mushroom. Because of this my partner is now thinking of going else where which is a shame. The big breakfast is £10.95 so I don't think it is too much to ask for a whole mushroom. View menu

What a gem! Despite catering for a large breakfast party which was stretching their catering resources the Staff Team accommodated Fiona and I, supplied tea to keep us going and then magically produced brilliant breakfasts for us both well before the half hour wait we had been advised…. All done with smiles and chat from a lovely Staff Team. Well done to you all and thanks from two very happy Yorkshire Folk.

Meet a friend here a couple of times a year, 2 hour parking limit in the square. Lovely waitress served us, lovely food, then after not even an hour, the owner asked us to leave, said he needs the table and you only get an hour, my friend and Ihad both driven over 30 minutes to meet there, we were gobsmacked, he was so rude and made us feel so uncomfortable that we left, such a shame as the,waitress was so lovely. Won't be returning.

Wow! The Bow Window was recommended to me by a friend when looking for somewhere new to take afternoon tea, what a find. From the minute we walked in it was brilliant…. Wonderful smiley welcome, we’re seated straight away and every member of staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, we were thoroughly spoilt and welcomed. Service was outstanding and our afternoon tea was lovely…fresh, pretty and delicious. This will definitely be a venue I will now frequent regularly. Thank you everyone for a perfect afternoon.
