However, the turnover rate is high, so the quality of service can vary. The yogurt and pasta dishes are very popular, and the breakfast options are delicious."

"We discovered this wonderful restaurant slightly off the main path in Colchester, just a 5-minute walk from the castle. After exploring the castle for a few hours (highly recommended with a guide), we decided to stop by and were pleasantly surprised. The staff greeted us warmly, the coffee lived up to its promise of being the best, and the muffins were absolutely delicious. If we ever find ourselves in Colchester again, we will definitely be returning to this lovely spot!"

"I've been using this Subway for years and enjoyed the food and atmosphere...it is fast food and facing a bus station. However, I have to say that the service,manners, and politeness seem to have disappeared. It's not as if the counter assistant was rushed of his feet with customers. It was seemingly all too much trouble for the staff. Additionally, sitting eating whilst listening to the assistant cough up phlegm is not conducive to a pleasant eating atmosphere. It'll be a while till I visit again."

"Ordered a delivery yesterday through UberEats. 2 put of 3 items were incorrect. I called the shop to advise of this. No offer of a replacement but was told if I contacted UberEats I would be refunded. Done this and have been refused a refund. Really disappointed as I normally love this place and often go there for lunch when at work. £10 of food in bin and had to fork out more money to order from somewhere else."

"We were invited to Ledbury for a family party and decided to book here for 2 nights and paid £240. Because of the very uncomfortable beds, a constantly dripping tap and a church bell which chimed ever hour we didn't sleep so chose to cancel the second night. This had a massive impact on our weekend and had to spend the afternoon of the following day in another hotel catching up on sleep so barely saw our family. Duty staff were understanding but failed to act positively and the elusive management have also failed to respond to our complaint. I'm a fair person and have been very reluctant to write this review as businesses are struggling but feel the hotel has had ample time to offer a refund or contribution towards the cancelled 2nd night. After all they were very enthusiastic about ensuring we paid in full on arrival. Very disappointing. The photos are also not representative of the rooms!"

"Slough's best hidden gem, offering outstanding value, top-quality ingredients, and exceptional customer service. I recently stopped by and was pleasantly surprised to find more food for a lower price compared to the nearby Subway. I ordered a poppy seed baguette with a generous amount of filling and all the salad options. The portion size did not disappoint, and I left feeling satisfied. "Great quality Italian Meal with very friendly staff and great value for money. Complimentary doughballs and olives to start followed by plentiful Monkfish and a delicious tortellini, washed down with half a carafe of white wine. Just to cap it off, the cheeseboard was amazing for £5.80, with 4 cheeses plentiful for 3 people let alone one and came with a complimentary glass of port. We have never had a cheeseboard for such a great value anywhere else. We will definitely return."

"It was a quiet afternoon when we visited with only other tables occupied but there are a lot of building works going on and the workmen were back and forwards through the tea room area constantly. The afternoon tea itself was very poor, just finger sandwiches, tiny cakes that had either been defrosted or had been kept too cold in a fridge. The were tasteless and dry. The scone tasted nice but was obviously a few days old as it crumbled immediately I cut into it. Very disappointing"

"The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly, making for an excellent dining experience. The interactive tables also provide endless fun for children. I ordered a rib-eye steak cooked blue, which can be tricky to get right. They offered to cook it at my table, which I might try next time, but I wanted to see how they prepared it. The first attempt was still cold in the middle, but that wasn’t an issue for them. They simply placed it on the grill mat for another 30 seconds, and it turned out perfect. My daughter had a delicious waffle with speck and maple syrup, and she loved it. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be returning."

"Just enjoyed a breakfast here it was lovely, I had a veggie one and my wife had the traditional one, very tasty. Nice and cosy inside and the lighting and decor was nice. Cakes looked delicious but didn't try one today! The only one negative for me was the cup of tea I had, I don't think it was made with filtered water as it had a bit of an aftertaste of unfiltered water and I do like my tea to be spot on but apart from that everything else was great. Friendly staff and great service, nice view from upstairs too. Vegetarian options: Lovely veggie breakfast"

"Perfect New Years Hot Pot Delivery I’ve never been to Dentons Deli before and saw them advertising Cottams hot pot delivered baked to your door on New Years Eve ... well that seemed like an opportunity too good to be true for a busy mum of 4.. "Stopped for a cream tea which the wife enjoyed. Usual 2 scones provided with jam and clotted cream and a good pot of tea. They normally do Gluten Free cream tea but due to high demand had sold out of GF scones. They were however able to supply GF cheese scones so I had a savoury version of cream tea, 2 GF cheese scones, a tomato chutney and a cream cheese. Was very nice and would recommend."

"Visited on a Monday evening. Ourselves and 13 year old daughter. We seated ourselves upstairs as no one to show us to a table. Orders were taken quickly. Average wait for food. Food was ok. 2 X lasagne and 1 X fish and chips. 1 espresso martini, one cosmopolitan and a mocktail. Cosmopolitan was poor. The bill was over £72. This is a big increase from our last visit and I would be interested to know how this is justified. This is pub standard grub. We have always liked Wolfies but I think they are in danger of pricing themselves out of the market. Following night we ate at a similar place roughly same order minus the cocktails) and the bill was £40."
