"It was a quiet afternoon when we visited with only other tables occupied but there are a lot of building works going on and the workmen were back and forwards through the tea room area constantly. The afternoon tea itself was very poor, just finger sandwiches, tiny cakes that had either been defrosted or had been kept too cold in a fridge. The were tasteless and dry. The scone tasted nice but was obviously a few days old as it crumbled immediately I cut into it. Very disappointing"

Whilst the service was excellent, the food was lovely but more like mini tasters not afternoon tea, would not recommend if you are hungry, i jokingly said wheres mine when the teaplate sized tower arrived

The food and service were really good, the staff couldn't do enough for you and gave the birthday girl a free bottle of prosecco! The only downside was children being allowed to play on the piano not in a good way!!, which was a disturbance

I recently had the high tea with my friend for a birthday tea. The waitress in particular was a delight and made us very welcome and special. Food was lovely and top up of tea and coffee. The cakes in particular were scrumptious Would recommend View menu

Food was served by a rude waitress who advised she was not on afternoon tea today as she put our stand down, she did not advise what the sandwiches or cakes were, i had to ask for a coffee! Cakes were very dry obviously frozen, would not return total waste of money, highly disappointed!

We did an offer on wowcher, it was Approx for of us. The food was good, just the right amount, the staff were friendly. The only thing I can say is we were never offered a refill for our coffeeteas, staff did ask if we were ok, but we had finished by then. Overall a nice treat, which we enjoyed
