"We found this fab little place on accident. We were not disappointed, attentive staff, quaint, small restaurant upstairs and wow the food was spectacular. I opted for a iced peach tea and the Yorkshire pudding wrap that was brimming with pork, stuffing and apple sauce, a side of lovely thick gravy and beautiful crispy seasoned chips. My husband opted for a cappuccino which he said was outstanding and the southern friend chicken burger which was a chicken breast not pre packed rubbish and the honey and Thai sauce that came with it was second to none. This little gem is not in the high street but please look it for it as it really is a eatery not to be missed. Thank you for a magnificent lunch."

Lovely, friendly, family run cafe with a good choice of home cooked mains, snacks and desserts. With notice, they provide cream teas.

Went for coffee and there was no room outside, when asked if we could go inside we were told only small dogs. They need to change their dog friendly status when it is clearly not.

beautiful friendly staff real smiles from the moment we arrived and we felt so welcome. eating was really varied and delicious. beautiful inside with lots of ventilation and space. service was fast and they seemed really excited that our experience was good what it was. beautiful that we found it.

Gorgeous little cafe in a beautiful seaside town. Had a Yorkshire wrap while my partner had a panini, all the food was lovely (so lovely in fact that we went back later to grab bits for the evening) and the staff were delightful and super helpful and friendly. Wish we lived closer so we could go here all the time

We popped in for a coffee and cake on a rainy day, I was warm and welcoming and getting to sit in the window added to it, being able to look out to the grey skies with a hot drink made it a lovely place to go. The selection of drinks, cakes and pastries was great, I would recommend this to anyone wanting a little coffee stop.

Just spent a week away on holiday in Aberaeron and chanced upon McGowan's on our first day. Super friendly staff, lovely food including a good range of choice for vegetarians (including quiches, sausage' rolls, soup, baguettes, veggie breakfast, baked potatoes and more We had lunch here twice, a couple of take-away coffees and picked up baguettes that were made to order in 5 minutes before we went off for the day walking in the mountains. Outdoor seating at the front opposite the park as well as having seating inside upstairs. So glad we found them!
