"I love Greek cuisine. I have eaten here multiple times and celebrated my birthday here with a party of 4. Located just of Marylebone high street, the street is not too quiet and not too busy, it’s just right, located on a corner plot the restaurant gets lovely daylight through the glass if you’re eating in the evening in the summer and it compliments the decor inside. The decoration, fixtures and fittings are gorgeous giving a warm and cool feeling at the same time with the copper colours and metallic/wood fixtures. They have a long central, high chair dining table and normal tables for 2 and 4 people, I have dined on the high chairs for small meals, I wouldn’t recommend it for dinner as it gets uncomfortable. This place pushes Greek cuisine into the modern day with its contemporary tapas-style dishes. The staff are really friendly and there when you need them and when you don’t need them you won’t notice or be disturbed by them. This is a high-end Greek restaurant, I feel like it belongs in Mayfair however I admire the fact of their choice of location as I believe where Opso will be they stand out and don’t need to rely on a location for reputation. The menu is a little small, However, I appreciate it as it allows them to focus more on what is available and make it to perfection. The menu had a balanced variety and I honestly believe you will be happy with any of the dishes. The aesthetic presentation of the food is wonderful, awesome for taking pictures. The food is delicious I shan’t comment further, it speaks for itself. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, they facilitate well, they brought me a lovely slice of cake on a glass platter with my name written in chocolate sauce and candles and they brought it over and I had my 15mins of fame at Opso, they made me the centre of attention. Cocktails: They have good bartenders and I’m always left feeling satisfied (that’s what she said) lol. Booking is a fairly easy process however they do get busy quick as they are in demand so plan. Pricing, I find it very reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. When I take my wife here I spend between 100-140 for starters, mains, small desserts and cocktails. I have and will be eating here again."

"This was my second time dining here, and once again I faced a long wait for a table. This time it was an hour, and during the wait, we were only offered a drink, which I think should have been complimentary given the lengthy delay. Fortunately, we managed to find a spot to sit while waiting, but many others who arrived after us had to stand around. Honestly, I might have decided to leave if we hadn’t found a place to wait. However, once we were seated, the service and food were good, and the atmosphere was lively. I’d love to return, but the long wait for a table is definitely a turn-off, especially since it happened both times I visited."

"Unfortunately the food and entertainment and overall experience was dampened by another table who had bought in their own professional photographer. We were all next to the table with flashing going off every other minute so half of our table actually ended up with our head in our hands and headaches. We did complain but couldnât be moved because it was busy which is understandable but found this unfair as the table shouldâve been situated in their own private area. Generous starters but I thought the portions for the main meal was a bit stingey."

"Located in the heart of London, this restaurant is a charming venue with a staff that is friendly and welcoming. The dining room is beautifully adorned with Greek singers and dancers, creating a lively atmosphere. During our visit on a quieter weeknight, we felt warmly received by everyone. For a more lively experience, I would recommend visiting on a Friday or Saturday when the restaurant is full of guests enjoying Greek cuisine and music."

"This place is very nice with excellent food and delicatessen but the girl serving hasn’t got a clue on what she is selling, as matter of fact I asked about an Italian cheese that she had right under her nose but she told me that they didn’t have it in store. Also she sliced mortadella half inches very good focaccia although extremely greasy. I will go back though Service: Dine in"

"Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and offered a spot on their lovely outside terrace, which was perfect given the warm evening. Our waiter was prompt and took our drink orders right away, ensuring they arrived in no time. With impressive knowledge of the menu, he quickly provided us with his recommendations. We chose the Meat mezze for two, and the food was truly exceptional. From the selection of pita and dips to the beef stifado and moussaka, each course was even better than the last. For dessert, we indulged in traditional baklava and enjoyed a Greek coffee, which was the perfect finale. Overall, our experience at Taverna was fantastic, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. It's a must-visit place when you find yourself in Harrogate!"

"I have visited over 15 Greek restaurants in London, and Karavas definitely ranks in my top two. One of the standout features is the generous portion size of the meat meze, which is priced at £19."

"The Olive Tree Brasserie in Lytham St. Annes, Lancashire is a wonderful discovery. Although there is outdoor seating, we chose to sit inside due to the dark, cold, and wet weather. The restaurant is small and intimate, with a lively atmosphere. The food is presented with flair and is absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. Whether you are a local or just visiting the area, be sure to make a reservation at The Olive Tree Brasserie."

"Lovely decor, good service from our young waiter. The food was delicious, though there was one negative that took away a 5 star experience. We ordered from the record menu, 3 dishes each. We both received 2 dishes, with a wait of about 10 minutes for both souvlaki. On the plus side, my friend got a free Greek coffee as she hasn't had it before. Definitely worth a visit though"

"Really enjoyed everything about our visit to Andy's Taverna. The menu was authentic and extensive, and the welcome was friendly. Very impressed by the Greek wine list, around 17 bottles around £22, very reasonable for wine which is hard to find elsewhere in London. We noticed the portions could be quite large so had to hold back on ordering on this occasion, but what we had was delicious spanakopita to start, and then I had the kleftico (the lamb was so incredibly tender) and my dining partner had the mixed souvlaki moist chicken, very tasty lamb and pork, all served with a generous salad. We would definitely like to return, with a bigger appetite, to work through more of the menu!"

"This charming little Greek restaurant specializes in grilled cuisine. We each ordered a souvlaki wrap, and although we were concerned it might not be enough, it turned out to be quite filling on its own. The wine selection is also impressive, and the prices are very reasonable. The tables are cozy and small, so I’m not sure they can accommodate large groups very well. I would definitely return to try other dishes, like their mixed grill or even their burgers."

"Another lovely visit to La Casa but this time the Leith venue rather than Dalry. My brother and his partner had never been but they absolutely loved it too! Best place for a giant copa de sangría and unusual tapas. Great selection of vegetarian options too!"

"My husband, son and 2 daughters and I came for dinner at The Granary on July 17th. My son had really wanted to try Haggis and our Airbnb was just minutes away. We liked the atmosphere and the location and the menu had lots of options. Service was a little inconsistent we were given menus by one person; the orders were taken by a server; and the food was brought by other servers . I ordered a non alcoholic Menebrea Italian beer (0.0% from one waiter and was brought a 4.8% Menebrea (by a different person who did not take the order . Glad I checked! He took the beer away and brought the correct non alcoholic Menebrea. We ordered lots of items off the menu (Soup, Haggis Bon Bons, Haggis Neeps and Tatties, Pretzel Chicken Club, Granary Burger and fries, Caesar Salad with Chicken, Harissa Cauliflower. My husband had two Innis and Gunn IPA's, and we also ordered Short Mill Bay Chardonnay and Ginger Beer. I mentioned to the server clearing that it was all very good except that my Burger and Fries were very lukewarm when they were brought to the table. That part was disappointing but I just didn't want to delay things by asking for it to be rectified."

"Very easy to book online with a choice of available dates. La Casa is right out a tram stop so no worries about where to park. Lovely welcome by the staff. Great choices on the menu, we chose the chicken and mushrooms in white wine sauce and it was serves piping hot, just as we like it. We chose the dessert as recommended by the waiter and it was delicious. Will definitely be back. A huge thanks to all the staff on duty."

"I had booked a table on the restaurant's website for 5pm yesterday, and we(my sister and I) had arrived at the restaurant a few minutes early, soon after we arrived, we were escorted to our table by a very friendly waiter, gave us our menus, but soon them away again, after we said that we had already decided what to order as we had already looked at the menu online, so he took our order, our starter was Spanakopita, which was a traditional spinach and feta cheese pastry pie, and our main was Moussaka, with Rice, and a large Greek salad, with both two bottles of sparkling and still mineral water, with two bottles of lager, and no dessert. Everything about the restaurant was excellent, the service, the food and the vibe in the restaurant, while we were there, so much so, that we booked to come there again next week, which we are looking forward to, so thank you very much to the staff, who made our experience in the restaurant very enjoyable."

"Had a fab time at Ullysses on a Saturday evening. We were booked in for a 6.30 sitting. We got there and there was a wedding reception in full swing. Very refreshing to see something like this in a place like that. That spoke volumes to us to say that someone thought so highly of the place, that they chose to have their first meal as a married couple there with all their nearest and dearest. The food was exceptional. Could not fault it! I've had Greek plenty of times, home and abroad. This was up there with the best of them. Value for money was excellent, although we did think the drinks were a little pricey, but for the standard of the food, we didnt mind all that much. We sampled a cocktail each. The same cocktail but 2 very different tastes unfortunately. As for the restaurant itself, the staff were thoughtful, helpful and attentive. Our surroundings were pleasing and comfortable. Quite noisy and a couple of boisterous children, but they belonged to the wedding party. We didnt mind, as it was a one off. The music was fab too. When we visit Birmingham again, we will absolutely be returning to Ullysses. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend."

"Good food, wine, coffee and company. Al Santo has been part of the Fulham Broadway scene for several years now, and is a firmly established favourite for many people. There's excellent coffee with croissants in the morning, moving on to great lunches to eat in or take away, and the place is always humming in the evening. You'll meet plenty of interesting people, and the pictures and objects around the place are great talking points (with my favourite being the nude penny farthing rider .. Talk to Roberto (the owner, who's often around talking to staff and customers) about the wines take his advice, and you won't be disappointed Highly recommended!"

"This is not a glamorous restaurant it is a small, family run affair, a bit too brightly lit and in need of a few decorative flourishes, but the reviews are so good because despite the less than perfect surrounding the food is genuinely outstanding....I have eaten a lot of Greek food in Athens and the Islands, have many Greek friends and have visited the country over times. This food is exactly like what I have eaten there and in my friends homes. Tasty, rich without being overbearing, comforting, not greasy and totally fresh: and perfectly cooked. It's also reasonably priced. In my opinion it is much better than many way more expensive and celebrated Greek restaurants that serve greasy and tasteless Greek specialities I took my partner and our two kids and they all loved it. We had perfect deep fried calamari that is possibly the best I've ever had thick rings, fresh and tasty, just the right amount of light batter not those stringy thin frozen things sold in most places; spanakopita (spinach and feta fried pies) that were the perfect consistency and ratio of cheese to spinach; taramasalata that was not too creamy (but perhaps could have had a bit more lemon) and then the mains! A delicious chicken souvlaki and whole seabass, both grilled perfectly plainly fresh as can be and delicately seasoned; and a vegetarian Moussaka that was so authentic it took me right back to Greece, again, avoiding the over-greasy bland offerings of so many Greek places light, fluffy and gorgeous. All in all the meal was excellent I took what we didn't eat home and we had a second dinner tonight and it was just as good second time. I highly recommend this restaurant and have only not given it stars because, quite easily, they could make some significant improvements to the interior (dim the lighting for one) and possibly improve the wine list a little. But for Greek food I now know where I am going, everytime. I should point out that this is the first time I've been moved to write a review.."
