"A highly recommended treat! As a surprise, I brought my wife here for Royal Afternoon Tea and she absolutely loved it! Admittedly, no tea was consumed, instead she opted for a flight of champagne, which consisted of 3 small glasses. The glasses seemed a decent size to me and at £15 seemed very good value considering the quality of the bubbles in them. The food itself was well presented and everything looked freshly prepared. There was a lot to get through and staff were offering to box up food that people couldn 't manage to finish on several tables. I mentioned in my confirmation email it was my wife 's birthday and part way through the afternoon one of the staff presented her with yet another cake on a long plate, with 'Happy Birthday ' written in chocolate. We highly recommend this for anybody looking to experience high quality afternoon tea. The music, the atmosphere created by the staff and the quality of the food made it a very memorable afternoon. Thanks to the staff who were lovely throughout our time there. Keep up the good work!"

I had a pleasant dinner experience. I tried the Wagyu Sharing Plate, which was quite tasty. However, it arrived a bit cold, and since it was served on a wooden board, it cooled down again pretty fast. We also overlooked the coffee and dessert menus, but they kindly removed the coffee from the bill when we mentioned it. Overall, it's a lovely place.

Without a doubt, it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I enjoyed the sausage and the rich, brown brioche, while my wife had the Colombian eggs, both of which were delicious. It's definitely worth a visit to experience the historical ambiance of the school. I wish we could have had dinner there, but unfortunately, we returned home this morning.

Went there for breakfast and was very impressed. We're both vegetarian, so I had the grilled avocado with roasted tomatoes poached eggs on toast. It was delicious, and one of the nicest breakfasts I've had. Wife had porridge with berries chocolate, and the porridge was superb, so thick, obviously real rolled oats and not some pre-packaged thing. Well be back next week, and as often as we can!

We visited last week to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it was my first time at this restaurant. I was truly impressed. The grounds were beautiful, and the interior was fabulous—I particularly loved the Audrey Hepburn image. Some of us ordered main dishes while others opted for afternoon tea, and everyone enjoyed their meals. We had a wonderful time and I can't wait to return. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The alcoholic drinks were a bit pricey, but overall, it was a delightful experience.

One of the best and charming dinning atmosphere, beautifully set up and accommodating ... We had an excellent and attentive customer service, excellent starters, delicious steaks, cooked to perfection as per request, everything was spot on and beyond ... We have been in other Tomahawk's locations, but this one site definitely by far surpasses the other two local locations ...great seamless team works, our big thanks to management, chefs, waiters, waitresses and other staff members ...keep up the excellent work By the way, this location is now Tomahawk Steakhouse, Acklam Hall ...

"We started with the Alkaline Nachos (£10.95), which featured nachos topped with marinated baked quinoa, fried beans, cashew cream, guacamole, pineapple salsa, and pickled red cabbage. The dish was drizzled with smoked cashew cheese. They were delightful, sweeter than any nachos I had before, and had a nice tangy twist. Next, we tried the BBQ Tacos (£9.50), which included shredded carrot in an alkaline BBQ sauce served in a crispy corn shell filled with fried beans and guacamole, along with pineapple salsa and pickled red cabbage, accompanied by a side salad. These were hands down the best BBQ tacos I've had in the north. The Thai Buddy Bowl (£10.95) was another standout dish. It featured orange teriyaki chickpea tofu, surrounded by pineapple "fried" quinoa, purple coleslaw, a Thai side salad with almond and ginger dressing, and quinoa falafels with mango chutney. The blend of flavors was incredible, and this was my favorite dish—something I could happily eat several times a week. I plan to return just for this dish! We also tried the Thai Wrap (£9.95), which contained quinoa and drippy butter falafels wrapped in a soft tortilla with mango chutney, coleslaw, and kimchi—served with a Thai side salad, almond and ginger dressing, and pineapple quinoa. The combination of ingredients in this falafel wrap was unexpected but fantastic. Once again, it was sweeter than I had anticipated. For dessert, we enjoyed the Pink Pitaya Acai Bowl (£5.50), a fruity and smooth blend with celestial blueberries, bananas, kiwi, and coconut—perfect for breakfast! It was a real power breakfast. We paired our meal with Immunity Boost Juice (£4.00 each) made from strawberry, pear, apple, and lemon juice—it was refreshing and invigorating. The Tropical Sunrise Smoothie (£4.50) blended papaya, mango, orange, banana, coconut, maple, and cashew, maintaining the unique flavors of each fruit beautifully. Lastly, we had the Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie (£4.50), featuring strawberries, banana, peanut butter, maple syrup, and lemon balm. It might sound odd, but it worked perfectly— the earthy peanut butter provided a lovely texture and taste that complemented the sweetness of the fruit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that was well worth the wait."
