"we booked the last available room as it was a busy weekend in worcester. we have requested an early check, where there was no problem for the administration. the room was an absolute joy. furnshing was in tune with the time property and the bathroom was a breathtaking new design. the entire anwesen was restored to a high standard. we had a light lunch, that was skurril, a hot pork cake and a cheese plate with a selection of excellent cheese. we had a nice night sleep and woke up to an breakfast ham containing fresh fruit, granola and croissants with jam. our total stay was 100% if we visit worcester regularly, we cannot wait to try some of the other rooms. well made the cardinal hat."

Stayed last night and can't fault. Beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms, easy check in, friendly staff. Lovely breakfast hamper left outside our room for us this morning. Would definitely recommend.

excellent medieval pub in the middle of the earth near the village bree and can be visited by hobbys. excellent, well-used local cuisine, but simple and limited menu. excellent ales. you swipe back into another world of magic and joy.

Welcomed here as if we were old friends. Room was fantastic and the continental breakfast served in the picnic basket was more than we were expecting. Well worth a visit. Will be back again for sure and recommending to all our friends.

I was just for the right ale, but the menu saw and thought we had a snack. what a surprise we had when we saw how much food there was! the cheese plate was great and my man was pleased to find such a large selection of vegetarian cheeses. also on the plate were pickles, walnuts, blueberries, honey and lots of fresh crust bread. I chose tipper on toast and enjoyed it again a lot of nice thick crusty broth, roasted, and a tipper to overtake it from dull. the ale was as good as expected, the staff was friendly and the small chick was very comfortable. we will be back!

A truly unique and charming establishment set amidst other historical premises in the old part of Worcester. Quirky rooms and a congenial atmosphere a place that retains much of its old world charm including oak beams and blazing log fires in the winter months together with a fine array of real ales coupled with other traditional and popular brands make this pub stand out from other venues nearby. We popped in for a quick drink before visiting the nearby cinema and were made to feel very welcome by the staff and customers alike, in my opinion this is one of the best pubs in Worcestershire.

"BEST VEGAN RESTAURANT IN THE UK I visited based on previous reviews and the basis that they offered a tailored menu for my wife who has a Gluten allergy and an oil intolerance along with being a Vegan yep its a tough one. I called in advance and specified the dietary requirements for my wife and upon arriving at the restaurant were greeted by Amber who gave us a custom made menu from the chef which we didn’t expect. Awesome. My wife ordered the Buddha Bowl and I ordered the Lamb Souvlaki based on the recommendation from James who works at the bakery (we visited for coffee before the meal) and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The food arrived quickly and the serving was more than generous compared to any other Vegan restaurant I’ve been to and the choice of dishes is monster compared to other Vegan restaurants so there really is something for everyone. The only downside was that I couldn’t finish the sticky toffee pudding with custard and had to share with my wife!!! I never normally struggle with deserts! Overall, the staff (Amber and Alice) were super attentive and very knowledgeable about the food on the menu and the restaurant is by far the best for value for money and choice. We travelled over an hour to eat here and will be revisiting again to sample the rest of the menu. I was curious to read the negative reviews left here, but have put that down to stupid customers who probably aren’t Vegan and review fast food establishments like McDonalds shocking! Keep up the great work."
