I'm really enjoying the atmosphere of this place. Louis is putting in a lot of effort to make it appealing. The menu is intentionally limited, just as he prefers, but it looks great. I can’t wait to give it a try!

If I could give more stars, I would. Louis is such a character and the locals are evidence of how valued he is as the pub landlord. The Sunday lunch was exquisite; local meat and copious amounts of veg with the Yorkshire pudding being the main attraction. My goal in life is to have this pub as my local, and for Louis to always be the pub landlord.... I 've been Louis 'd !! What a delightful experience! The dishes prepared by Louis are simply exquisite. The ingredients are fresh, and the portion sizes are generous. The pub has undergone a fantastic renovation, and we really enjoyed the many interesting plates displayed on the walls—there was so much to see. We settled at our table by the open fire and chatted the night away. Louis and his staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel very welcome. Thank you! I can't wait to try the Sunday roast next.
