5 star breakfast .food arrived piping hot and plenty of it.lovely coffee included in price .would definitely recommend and will be going again.lovely staff !

Dated decor. Dated ambience. Dated food. This place might just have passed muster if it was 1975. But it isn’t. It’s 2024. Pub is like a cemetery with lights. And there aren’t many lights.

We met our friends here to celebrate my husband's birthday by having lunch together. We often eat here as the food is very good and the staff are brilliant, northing s too much trouble for them.

It was the best breakfast out I've had in a long time. Good atmosphere, friendly service, a well presented, perfectly cooked plate of quality food . The black pudding so often an overcooked afterthought in similar establishments was really tasty.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, food was great and plenty of it. I had salmon with sweet potato mash and vegetables all were cooked perfectly. Friends had lasagne and the brie wellington, and they were very pleased with what they had, too. Big portions. Ice cream was particularly good too!

The host was excellent. A warm welcome and lots of seating options either inside or outside we chose outside. He said find a seat I will come to you. He was very efficient and we had both drinks and food really quickly. The breakfast was excellent and good value. Full marks for our breakfast experience.

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime. Such wonderful ‘homely’ cooked Sunday roast. Wife had roast beef and I had the roast pork, both came with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower and of course gravy! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a homely cooked meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Will be back for sure!

I have eaten at the Coach and Horses many times but never had breakfast there before. We rectified that this morning. As I have come to expect, the breakfast was of the highest quality. Good quality food, cooked to perfection. The staff are always lovely and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend the Coach and Horses whether it be for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Always delicious!

First time visitor to this pub. A great welcome by the lady Michelle. Log fire burning added to the welcoming feel. The landlord took great pride in his work and he had a great choice of beers. My purpose was to eat and I ordered Cod and chips with mushy peas. Beautifully presented with the hand cut chips cooked to perfection (I think they were Maris Piper). The tartar sauce was home made and the taste was more to my liking than the famous branded names. Too often in restaurants garnish can be treated as an extra of little importance and diners can invariably not bother eating it. However in this case the garnish was not to be outdone by the rest of the food and was given a deserved prominen...
