"Oh dear I had hoped from the photos online that this pub was going to be a great find. Grotty smelly dirty with sweary old men in the main bar. We ate outside in the bleak garden this pub has so much potential but needs to be loved it is obviously not cared for oh and it needs a good clean especially the ladies toilets very grim. 5 stars says it all. Great food. Lovely friendly staff. Good value. Lovely atmosphere. Spot on. Highly recommend. It may take a bit of time for your food to come out but hey, good things come to those that wait.

Located across from Bodiam Castle, this restaurant offers generous portions of food in a relaxed atmosphere. There's a lovely garden as well. The average cost per person is £50–60. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
