Cross Keys - Menu

Called in for lunch. Had the steak and ale pie, absolutely bang on. Everything freshly made and pipping hot. Dog friendly in the bar. Well worth a visit.

beautiful pub in a beautiful location. many seats inside. beautiful menu not overpriced. good service. would recommend a visit, but they need a car if they are not local.

I had the steak and ale pier with seasonal veg, macular and engraving absolutely amazing. the better half had beef and bevel bag, chips and we shared some bevel rings. they said it was beautiful, and the wobbles were the best we ever had. View menu

my man and I just had a great lunch! friendly staff, extensive menu very cheap. the portions were generous and everything was hot and delicious. we were a few times and never disappointed. best chips and swirl rings ever, and everything is obviously cooked by scratches

they will not regret the choice of the cross keys! consistently good pub duck. obviously an independent pub, this ensures great service and eating is great. very friendly staff and good value. we arrived early when it was quier, but the place filled when we were gone. would like to recommend a booking

my wife and I enjoyed a good evening meal. I felt comfortable that the personal knew what gluten-free means, which is still not always the case. we were recommended to go and were not disappointed and ceremonial ne back. nice lunch as usual. I never had a bad meal here. warm reception and a first-class roast with amazing Yorkshire puppies. actually reluctant to recommend it because it means that more people go and we could not always get a table. always looks like my father even when he goes. really wonderful pub and restaurant.

Great food and service! Had the best evening here for a family dinner, as a group of 22 including 4 children to be sat, fed at the same time with drinks topped up and have no complaints at all is in my opinion fantastic! The service from all of the front of house team was brilliant, really on the ball and well organised and all queries prior to our visit had been sent through Facebook and were replied to quickly and politely. We will be returning

It was many years since I last visited here and I enjoyed the food then. Having just moved back into the area I thought I would give it a try. I was not disappointed. The staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful with my questions. The food was just lovely. We had two large light yorkshire puddings with gravy perfect. The Cross Keys Burger, served with chips followed and was said to be delicious. Saschas chicken supreme was perfectly cooked chicken, spring onion mash, served with a gorgeous creamy mushroom sauce.
