"Unfortunately, the wait time at this restaurant was excessively long. There were three staff members – one waiter, one taking orders, and one in the kitchen. Continuous interruptions from takeaway drivers only added to the delay. The special starter I ordered turned out to be very chewy, not special at all. Due to the long wait, my sugar levels dropped, so I ended up ordering a coconut ice cream which was the only highlight of the meal. The parking situation was frustrating, and upon entering the premises, we found out that we needed to bring our own drinks. This policy should be made known to customers, especially those who are not locals. As a member of a curry club and a frequent diner, unfortunately, this restaurant will not be receiving any awards from us this year."

Had a takeaway and food was delicious and good portions. Ready when they said it would be and staff were very friendly.

Used to use them quite a bit but I ordered a delivery which was completely wrong, called up and got a load of abuse. I'll never use them again.

No parking. No alcohol. Food was lovely for most of us but the wait for food was ridiculous. We were in there nearly 3 hours. We had to revisit the corner shop for more drink. Waiter struggled. Saving grace was my food was great but others in our group.....not so. View menu

Having fancied a curry all week, we turned up and was welcomed with open arms. After ordering, it was nice that we were updated with how long it would be until it would arrive. Upon arrival, the curry was exactly as described on the menu and it was gorgeous. I would thoroughly recommend this place to everyone. The service never fails to deliver.

First time and I would think only time here. I am not from the area and parking is not good, fine for locals who can walk there. Once we arrived we discovered they do not really serve alcohol, other than having a few beers in the fridge. After another walk down to the shop to get beer and wine we were able to take a look at the menu. A lot of choice here and my food was good including a nice dessert. Others in my group were not as happy and felt the chicken wasn't very fresh. It was fairly busy on the night but even so the wait for food was very long, this resulted in another walk to the shop to get more drink. The staff were nice enough but not very attentive. On my trip to the UK five years ago, I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite being labeled as Indian food, the dishes served were not authentic Indian cuisine. The service was also poor and added to my disappointment. The paneer listed on the menu turned out to be grated cheese, which was misleading. The dal tadka lacked the usual aroma and spiciness of the dish, instead containing raw garlic, which was unpleasant. Although I acknowledge that the owner has made improvements over the years and the restaurant now has a good local reputation, my experience that evening was unsatisfactory. As someone who has lived in Bristol for many years and enjoys British-Indian, Pak...

So disappointed in the takeaway! This may be a one off but ordered a takeaway on their website and received a confirmation email at 19.55 for delivery time of 20.54. At 21.15 I called to find out where it was! They had clearly missed my order but said they were busy then asked if I still wanted it? Well yes as it is too late to order anything else! They said it would be 1/2 hour! 21.50 food arrived, by I assume a waitress! Well, she didn’t say anything- no hello, no here is your order and definitely no apology for it being an hour late. The food was actually mediocre (a shame as have eaten and had a takeaway from here on several occasions)! The Tarka Dhal was actually just a dish of oil with...

"We came here on a last minute hunt to find a Sunday roast with family without much expectations. However when entering its a lovely set up and we were greeted by Lee and Alison who looked after us for the meal who just to begin were absolutely brilliant, they really care about the customers and make this place extra special. Now for the food you can get a 2 or 3 course meal so everybody made various selections but all had starters. Most went for the Aarancina which isn't your usual starter with a Sunday roast but for here it packs alot of flavour and is a great way to start the meal. They have a great selection of alcoholic beverages I went for a simple beer. For the main roasts we had a variety of meats I wanted the pork but sadly they had no crackling which was half the reason for ordering but if I am being honest after eating the meal it wasn't missed out the meat was tasty full of flavour but the sides were the key. The roast potatoes were of a top level usually when you eat out they are never as good as eating at home, the Yorkshire were huge and tasty, gravy brilliant with plenty to go around and lots of veg and cauliflower cheese on the side. Honestly this was excellent a really good roast probably the best I have ever ate in a resteraunt. Some of the others had the lamb shank which was huge and had great feedback but the beef was great and so was everything else. So yes check it out eat in and eat some great food in a nice setting with absolutely brilliant service you won't be disappointed."
