"We held our engagement party here on Saturday and had the most amazing day! We picked this venue as we had a few small children coming and wanted to make sure they'd be entertained. We were very lucky with the weather and the playground was brilliant for the kids and their parents. We had a buffet for 40 people and it was fab there was something for everyone including vegetarians and gluten free. A lot of our guests were coming from city centre so they were delighted at the drinks being so reasonably priced! There was a band on at 8pm and we enjoyed chatting out the back while listening to them in the background (there is a review below mentioning this, which is quite harsh so I'd ignore that it was 25 degrees so we were enjoying the last of the Summer heat, catching up with friends we've not seen in months! Karen, the landlady, was great from day one, brilliant communication throughout and so friendly!
